The main cause of hair loss is called androgenetic alopecia. It is one of the most common problems experienced by men and women all over the world. It will probably halt the loss of hair in most of men, but the quantity of regrowth will be dependent on the person.
Hey guys, can you see yourself with a head full of hair once more? Want to discover how to regrow lost hair quickly? If so, then make sure you read this article as it will provide tips on how you can stimulate hair regrowth successfully.
Let’s face it, hair loss is a problem that affects men as much as women. Maybe you are already accepting the fate of baldness on your head as all other males in your family do. However, you need not really have to admit defeat straightaway. If you stay the course, you can find solution to restore your lost hair and have a head of hair once again.
You may have heard of this, What causes hair loss in men is a genetic trait called androgenetic alpeocia or male pattern baldness. This a hereditary form of hair follicle loss that runs in the family. So if you brother of father have this condition, it’s quite likely you may have it too.
For males, dihydrotestostrone is the one that causes your hair follicle receptors be weigh down. DHT is derived from androgen, one of the male hormone present in your body. When 5-alpha reductase, an enzyme in your body is converted to DHT, it binds and holds the hair follicles. That is why you see thinner and thinner hair strands as no new hair follicles grows to replace them.
There are 3 normal phrase of growth namely anagen, catagen and telogen. It is a hair reproduction cycle that goes on and on when you have healthy hair follicles. However, when you have too much DHT in your bloodstream, the growth phrased (known as Anagen) is shortened. This causes your follicles to prematurely shrinks and weakens. As a result, your hair will not regrow as it should be.
Now that is a clinical approved ingredient called Minoxidil that has been approved by the FDA to help men to regrow their hair. This powerful active ingredient can penetrate to nourish your scalp and hair. For it to be more effective, you can mix it with herbs like saw palmetto, nettle root and biotin supplements to promote even healthier hair growth. That’s one of the reason why I have the greatest success when I use hair loss products that contains these ingredients.
If you are facing thinning hair now, my advice to you is not to delay further. Get started immediately to prevent further hair loss and start regrowing your hair. You’ll definitely be please to see the benefits in a few week’s time.
Video: Hair Implant Surgery in Troy
That is the question that motivates Dr. Brett Bolton, a hair transplant surgeon in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Today’s ‘gold standard’ of hair transplantation is not high enough for Dr. Bolton who has specialized in hair restoration since 1997. In the late 90’s he was fortunate enough to enter the field of hair transplant surgery during a transitional time when technology was being shaped. Outdated techniques like the large chunky hair plugs, punch grafts and flap surgeries Troy Vermont were on their way out and the defining new technique of follicular unit transplantation (FUT) was just cresting the horizon. Dr. Bolton’s vantage point at that time could not have been any better. He learned from the mistakes of other hair doctors as he repaired bad transplants, and he also gleaned valuable techniques from talented surgeons like the late Dr. Constantine Chambers who did wonders with old technology, especially in the crown area.
With FUT, doctors transplant small slit grafts which contain only one hair bundle. These grafts are harvested from a single strip of donor tissue and separated under a microscope. They contain a naturally occurring bundle of 1-4 hairs. The result is very natural-looking but Dr. Bolton would argue that there is not enough hair density to give patients a satisfying outcome with 1-4 hair grafts only.
In the early 2000’s, it became exceptionable for doctors to perform surgeries using anything other than FUT. However, Dr. Bolton had already developed a method of transplantation using a mixture of graft sizes that far outperformed the standard follicular unit transplantation. He was not willing to cast off a technique that was proving to be extremely successful in his practice despite pressure from peers. Instead, he refined and developed this approach and proudly applies Multi-Unit Hair Grafting , which he co-developed at PAI Medical Group in Nashville, Tennessee. By using a combination of micrografts (single hair grafts), follicular units and multiple follicular unit grafts, which is a slit graft containing 2 to 3 follicular units, Dr. Bolton gives patients 2-3 times the density compared to other doctors who use FUT only.
Some of Dr. Bolton’s peers suggest in error that multi-unit grafts are old style hair plugs. These new style slit grafts are slightly larger than standard follicular units. Separated under a microscope just like follicular units, these multi-unit grafts are not harvested with a punch biopsy instrument. This insures hardiness of the delicate hair follicles and surrounding tissue. They are never used in the frontal hairline and are strategically placed throughout the vertex and crown to make the most of density. This style of transplantation is so unique, Dr. Bolton cannot even charge by the graft because it simply doesn’t translate. Instead, he charges by hair volume. When compared to competitors, hair for hair, Dr. Bolton’s surgery is the best value in the industry.

Itching And Loss Of Hair?
I Am 21 Years Old Boy And M Having A Lot Of Hair Fall From The Past 15 Days..Even When I Itch My Head Some Hair Come In My Hands...
Anyine Knows What'S Happening?
I had itchy scalp once last year. I went to a dermatologist, but she took a look @ my scalp and found nothing there, but she did said: "whatever you're doing to your hair, you have healthy hair care, continue doing that! You have beautiful hair!" Her hair is brittle because of the hair dye. I have noticed, though, that when I blow dry my hair, the hair dryer was too close to where my itchy scalp was, so I try to make it a little farther than before, and my itchy section of my scalp went away.
Dry scalp skin lacking the protective oil layer, is vulnerable to infections, and easily gets irritated. From the top of the head or hairline skin cells in the form of white dust (dry dandruff) may shed. Common causes of dry flaky scalp are:
1. Frequent hair washing with hot water and aggressive shampoos
2. Holding hair dryer close to the head
3. Cold windy weather in combination with dry air from indoor heating
4. Even the sun is drying and causing skin to get flaky & itchy. Same with hair.
I've always used OTC shampoo for 5 decades, and I've never had problems with itchy scalp or dandruff. I only condition my hair when I was perming & dyeing. I don't use conditioner haven't been since I no longer use chemicals on my hair. I also keep my hair protected from the sun, by wearing a hat or keep them tucked in.
Make sure you massage your scalp well while shampooing, then rinse 5 mins. for the back and tip your head back and rinse 5 mins. for the top. I use two towels to dry my hair, by then they're halfway dried. I air dry some or stand by the heater until it's done, then blow dry with hair dryer for 5 mins, concentrating at the roots. I am NOT following the dermatologist' advice using medicated shampoo, because her hair is dry & brittle, and she complimented me because my hair is healthier & nicer than hers, and told me TO CONTINUE whatever it was I was doing. I must be doing something right!
Update as of today: I am now using Garnier (like before). My scalp had improved, and have NOT ITCHED.
ANOTHER tips for an itchy, dry scalp, crush up some ibuprofen and mix with shampoo. Then apply directly to scalp using a colorist's brush.
"You're going to use that brush to really work that mixture in," said Kevin Gatto, owner of Verde Salon in Collingswood, New Jersey,
Let that sit for about 2 minutes, then shampoo out.

There are many reasons such as stress, lack of some vitamins, too much use of shampoo, and hormonal imbalances. Hormones place a large role in woman’s hair loss and it can be caused by an overactive thyroid, menopause, pregnancy or other hormonal changes.
There are three basic types of woman’s hair loss: 1) androgenic alopecia, 2) Telogen effluvium and 3) alopecia areata. There are less common causes of the condition as well. The most common cause of treatment of androgenic alopecia are those directed at hormonal alterations in the system.

How I Can Stop Loss Of My Hair?
I Use Minox 2% For Women But My Hair Loss Becomes Worse . I Am On Altroxin Therapy For Hypothyroidism And On Simvastin For High Cholesterol(Experts Preferred)
anyway as you know - hair loss can be caused by many different reasons! Find out the actual cause of hair loss! There are many causes of loss of hair such as stress, poor nutrition ,medications, thyroid dysfunctions, illness, fungal infections ,hormonal problems, to mention a few. but anyway you can always try and get real results.
year ago my husband suffered from hair loss too and he started trying everything you can imagine to stop his hair loss. the things that really worked for him was:
1) Vitamin A - an anti-oxidant which promotes healthy production of sebum in the scalp;
2) Vitamin E stimulates circulation. Good blood circulation in the scalp is important in keeping hair follicles productive. The 'B' vitamins contribute to melanin, which gives hair its healthy color and also stimulates blood circulation;
3) massage is also beneficial. Massage stimulates circulation. As already noted, good circulation in the scalp keeps hair follicles active. Experts suggest a few minutes of daily head massage by hand. Circulation through massage may be improved by using a few drops of lavender or bay essential oil in an almond or sesame oil base with massage;
4) Try rubbing your scalp with garlic juice, Onion Juice or Ginger Juice(you can either of one out of three, Do not mix any of two or three);
5) also used herbal treatment.in that case Provillus is a good product that helps prevent hair loss and it is an FDA approved product. I think it is very important!
It worked and still works for him!
I do not know if any pharmacies carry Provillus but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here http://www.provillus.com/?aid=749165

19 Years Old And Have A Problem With Thin Hair. Any Solutions?
I'M 19 And Have Really Thin Hair, Enough To Where It'S Producing A Bald Spot On The Top Of My Head. People Tell Me It'S Not That Bad, But I Feel Like They'Re Just Saying That To Make Me Feel More Confident About It, But It'S Driving Me Crazy!
It Didn'T Start Showing Until I Was 16 And I Figured It Was Nothing And Eventually Start Thickening Out Again. I'M So Self Concience About It I Feel Like I Can'T Do Anything Without It Showing Part Of My Scalp No Matter What. I'Ve Been Taking Biotin Pills For About A Year Now And All It Does Is Just Make It Longer Without Thickening. I'Ve Also Been Using This Redken Shampoo And Conditioner From My Hairstylist To See If It Was A Problem Using Store Bought Products, But I Haven'T Seen Any Improvement.
If Anyone Knows Of Any Solutions To This Kind Of Problem I'D Be So Appreciative Of Any Answers, It Would Really Mean A Lot To Me!
There are variety of things you could use to thicken up your hair and make your hair grow even after using crappy products!! I've had a hair lost after 1. My dumb self permed my edges after coloring it red (3dayslater) and 2. Which make matters worst, I went to someone to get my hair twisted (two strand) and the tension added to keep the hair from slipping caused my hr to fall out and various amounts of bald spot throughout my hair... And trust me I CRIED!! So I went to get some research done and I found out that using monistat 7 mixed with olive oil grows your bald spots!! I've used it consistently (day and night) and my hair is growing and I love it. But before doing so, I had did a 50/50 cleanse to activate my hair pores to open up by using half solution of water rand apple cider vinegar kept it on for approximately 10 minutes then washed it out. There's also a system by the name of NIOXIN that carries different systems that's a great repair for your hair!! You should def use them!!
