Top Tips of Hair Loss Treatment
Hair loss is a hard thing for anybody to grapple with, and women specifically. While it is typically thought to be a male problem, it is also something that affects women as well. It is a problem of several people. Hair loss is crucial to avoid, but a lot of people find that it’s difficult, this is a cure to assist.
Hair loss is a typical problem which is frequently experienced by both women and men and can be brought about by quite a few distinct things including poor diet plan and genetics. It is not cured with just a month or two into any treatment. It is not just a simple appearance problem. The loss of hair because of nutrient-deficient condition can be corrected with the correct diet including adequate heights of all important minerals and vitamins.
Hair can start to fall out for a lot of reasons. It can be extremely frustrating and difficult, if you want to quit losing hair, to purchase plenty of different products which do not do the job. Beautiful and healthful hair enhances your personality.
The main cause of hair loss is called androgenetic alopecia. It is one of the most common problems experienced by men and women all over the world. It will probably halt the loss of hair in most of men, but the quantity of regrowth will be dependent on the person.
There are several types of hair loss and balding. While the mechanism of the phenomenon of hair loss and baldness is not fully understood, there is vast knowledge on the ability to treat the types of hair loss and baldness by medication or natural means.
We are dividing the alopecia types into treatable and non-treatable conditions and we shall hereby explain how one can evaluate the chances of successful treatment in the treatable conditions.
When evaluating the chances of improving the condition of the hair, the most important criteria is the condition of the hair follicles. As long as the hair follicles are alive, there is a chance to grow new hair. Otherwise, there is no basis for any treatment to succeed and the only options are cosmetic- wig, hair transplant etc.
Life period of the hair follicles may reach up to twenty-five years. The hair follicles grow hair in cycles of growth and fall. In the process of hair loss, each cycle of growth produces shorter, thinner hair and there is less pigment (color).
When the scalp has a bright plume, it indicates that the hair follicle is still alive but dormant. Given the appropriate specialist’s knowledge and therapy, the hair follicle can be stimulated to grow hair. However if the surface is completely smooth, it indicates that the hair follicle is no longer alive and there is zero chance to grow hair- except in some cases as explained below (Alopecia Areata, Totalis and Universalis).
The different types of hair loss and the chances of growth of new hair are hereby given.
Non Treatable conditions
The conditions of hair loss which have no chance of hair regrowth are: Alopecia from birth, Scarring Alopecia, Traction Alopecia and Lupus disease.
Alopecia from birth is a rare condition, where the infant is born without hair follicles.
In Scarring Alopecia the infected zone looks like a scar and the hair follicles are dead. The reasons of the phenomena are unknown. The chances of growing new hair are zero, but with proper treatment the expansion of the Scarring Alopecia can be stopped.
In Traction Alopecia the hair is pulled out of the scalp and the hair follicle becomes weak and dies.
In alopecia which is caused by Lupus disease, the skin is rough and pink and the chances of growth of hair is almost non existent.
The conditions of hair loss which has a chance to be treated successfully are: Male Pattern Alopecia, Alopecia Areata, Alopecia Totalis and Alopecia Universalis.
Male Pattern Alopecia is common male baldness. It’s characteristics are loss of hair at the front and crown area first. In many cases, there is still at least hair plume, hair loss and baldness can be stopped by affecting the hair follicles.
In Alopecia Areata condition, typical round hair loss patches evolve rapidly. Sometimes the bald patches spread to full hair loss of the scalp (Alopecia Totalis) or even whole body areas (Alopecia Universalis). The phenomenon could harm men, women and small children. Conventional medicine assumes the Alopecia Areata condition is an autoimmune disease, though the exact mechanism of Alopecia Areata is not known nor fully understood.
In many cases Alopecia Areata is caused by psychological pressure: people who experienced trauma have sometimes lost entire hair within hours or days.
Evaluating Chances of Successful Treatment
As explained in the introduction, the condition of the hair follicles is the most important criteria for evaluating the chances of successful treatment. Existence of thin white hair is a visible sign for living hair follicles. The thin white hair can be noticed when examining the scalp from close distance, with good light conditions. Sometimes viewing the scalp from an angle against light source helps to see the thin white hair.
Naturally, when there is thin white hair on the alopecia area, it indicates that the hair follicles are weak but alive, so there is a basis to grow hair, given the proper treatment. But when the alopecia area is smooth, the evaluation depends on the alopecia type:
In male pattern alopecia condition, smooth scalp is a clear indication that the hair follicles are not alive and there is no chance to grow new hair. However in Alopecia Areata, Alopecia Totalis and Alopecia Universalis the hair follicles sometimes remain alive even if the alopecia area is smooth and evaluating the condition of the hair follicles should take into consideration other important factors.
The factors which play important role in the condition of the hair follicles and hence the chances of success:
– Age of the patient: at younger age there are higher chances to recover
– Period with Alopeia Areata condition: if the condition is recent, the chances are higher. Among people who experienced Alopecia Areata for decades, the hair follicles are probably too weak.
– Alopecia Areata condition was due to a shock: In those cases, the chances of recovery are better.
– Use of violent and inappropriate treatment: Some treatments cause permanent damage to the hair follicles. In such cases, even if there is growth of hair, it is common that once the treatment is stopped the hair falls and the hair follicles remain weaker, which makes it harder to stimulate growth.
– Thin white hair: as previously explained, if there is thin white hair the chances of recovery increase.
– Use of wig: When a wig is applied, the scalp’s skin is not normally exposed to air and is not breathing (skin is not able to absorb oxygen). In cases of wig users, the chances of recovery are lower. If wig is attached by glue, chances are near zero.
It should be emphasized that these are general guidelines for treatment success chances, based on experience with a population of Alopecia Areata patients. A personal evaluation is required in order to accurately evaluate the success chances of a specific person.
Choosing the Right Treatment
There are natural or medication therapies which are intended to revive the hair roots. When considering medication treatment, it is advised to consult with a specialist dermatologist and inquire about possible side effects. The internet includes vast information about the side effects of conventional treatments. In case of natural treatments, it is advised to seek for a treatment which is certified by a recognized organization. The treatment should be certified for being safe for usage and without any side effects. In order to be certified for zero side effects, the treatment should contain only herbs and plants with the maximal safety degree – edible herbs- as defined by the U.S. CTFA list of plants.

In a recent survey, it was found that men fear losing their hair, either by it thinning, receding or by going bald completely, will make them unattractive in the eyes of others. It seems that lots of men worry about what others think about their hair loss. The survey revealed that Pearsall Texas men who have bald fathers tend to keep their own hair short, so that if the hair begins to fall out it wouldn’t be such a shock to lose it all.
There are three general patterns of male pattern hair loss, and men can experience one of these patterns of hair loss or a mixture of all three:
- A receding hairline is one of the most common hair loss patterns, where the hair is lost at the temples, either side of the forehead, usually leaving a mound in the middle. This may sometimes be the only area of hair loss, but others may experience thinning at the crown as well.
- Some men will experience their hair thinning at the crown, which is at the back or top of the head. This can occur by itself or coincide with a receding hairline. Usually hair loss starts with thinning at the crown until the scalp becomes visible, and in time a bald patch may appear. This bald patch may grow wider until it meets the receding hairline, or it may stay at the top or back of the head and spread outwards in all directions to produce a circular baldness.
- General thinning spreads evenly over the top of the scalp, and men will not get a distinct receding hairline or a thinning crown. With general thinning, the onset of hair loss is less obvious and takes longer to notice.
One method of restoring hair to a follically challenged head is the FUE hair transplant technique. FUE involves taking healthy hair follicles from the scalp one by one and grafting them into the bald areas of the head. The Pearsall TX surgeon transplants hair follicles into the same slot that contained previous hair, giving it a better chance of settling in permanently. This method of transplanting is very intricate and it requires special attention and care. This means the treatment is completed over a number of sessions and not performed in one long exhausting procedure. The grafts usually take in a few days and the redness caused by the treatment settles in under a week.
FUE hair transplants are very popular as:
- They deliver more natural-looking results.
- The treatment is less painful than other methods.
- Downtime is minimal.
In most cases, once you receive the aesthetics, you’ll only feel minimal discomfort during the procedure. With the FUE hair transplant technique, visible scarring on the scalp is negligible. FUE transplant procedures are less painful compared to earlier transplant treatments and they tend to produce more natural looking results.

Some Common Q & A’s
Is There Any Genuine Herbal Medicinal Treatment Of Baldness/Regrowth Of Hairs?
Regain is what I've heard is the best one.
But my friend, I tell you, I've tried a few of these including eating some wierd stuff but nothing helped me at all.
So I got a friend of mine to start cutting my hair with a trimmer and I've never gone back to having wierd hairstyles to cover my baldness.
It's one of those battles where you come out looking better if you just admit defeat. Start working out instead and you'll look like Jason Statham in no time! 😛
How To Stop Premature Baldness?
I'M 17 And My Hairline Is Already Starting To Recede A Little Bit (You Can See The Sharp Points Coming Back On The Sides). Eesh. My Dad Lost His Hair Really Early Too, But He Didn'T Start Losing It Like This Until He Was 19. And Isn'T Baldness Supposed To Come From Your Mom'S Side Of The Family? Everyone On My Mom'S Side Has A Completely Full Head Of Hair (Dad, Brothers, Cousins, Etc.). And Some Of The People On My Dad'S Side Do Too (My Dad'S Dad Is Bald, But His Mom'S Dad And Brother Had/Have Full Heads Of Hair). So... I Mean, Physically, I Take After My Dad A Lot, But I Don'T Think I Should Be Losing My Hair.
Anyway, Is There Any Way I Can At Least Slow The Process Down A Little Bit? Someone Told Me One Time That If I Stop Masturbating, It'Ll Help, Because Ejaculation Releases Dht, Or Something Like That. I Mean... Is That Really Going To Make A Difference? Or What About Other Things? I Don'T Get A Whole Lot Of Protein. I Don'T Eat Much Junk Food, Just Not Much Meat Either. Should I Be Eating More Protein, Taking Certain Vitamins, Getting More Sun Exposure? I'D Just Like To Slow It Down A Little Bit, So I'M Not Totally Bald By 22, Ya Know?
Regarding your question about the inheritance patterns of alopecia (baldness)
"Most balding men, though not all, have a family history of balding. The balding tendency can probably be inherited from either father or mother but, at present, we have only a limited understanding of the genes that are responsible."
"1916, Dorothy Osborn proposed that balding in men and in women is due to a single gene with two alleles
In 1984, Kuster and Happle re-evaluated the inheritance of androgenetic alopecia and argued that there is a more complex polygenic mode of inheritance in androgenetic alopecia.
Hoffman argues that the androgen receptor gene is located on the X chromosome and does not explain father to son inheritance."
You must approach a doctor and discuss treatment options with him. Since this is a case of balding at such a young age, other causes of early onset alopecia must be ruled out and documented for future references.
About your last question relating masturbation and alopecia, I am not aware of any medical articles supporting or refuting the same, nor have i come across the same in any medical texts
Testosterone is secreted from the Leydig cells in the testis, 5% of it is converted to DHT in the testes, hair follicles, adrenal glands, etc..
"In men, testosterone plays a key role in the development of male reproductive tissues such as the testis and prostate as well as promoting secondary sexual characteristics such as increased muscle, bone mass and the growth of body-hair. In addition, testosterone is essential for health and well-being as well as the prevention of osteoporosis."
So it would mean an association between masturbation and enzymatic conversion of T to DHT, which I feel is unlikely.
How Do I Stop And Reverse Hair Loss?
Hi Everyone. I Have A Serious Problem. I'M 17 And My Hair Is Very Thin On The Top Of My Head. Now I Know Hair Loss Shouldn'T Bother Me But Unfortunately, It Does. Could There Be Something Wrong With Me? What Can I Do To Stop And Reverse The Problem? P.S. My Family Does Have A History Of Bald Men. Oh And I Would Prefer Something Natural. Thanks
year ago my husband suffered very much from dandruff and hair loss too and he started trying everything you can imagine to stop his hair loss. the things that really worked for him was:
1) Vitamin A - an anti-oxidant which promotes healthy production of sebum in the scalp;
2) Vitamin E stimulates circulation. Good blood circulation in the scalp is important in keeping hair follicles productive. The 'B' vitamins contribute to melanin, which gives hair its healthy color and also stimulates blood circulation;
3) massage is also beneficial. Massage stimulates circulation. As already noted, good circulation in the scalp keeps hair follicles active. Experts suggest a few minutes of daily head massage by hand. Circulation through massage may be improved by using a few drops of lavender or bay essential oil in an almond or sesame oil base with massage;
4) Try rubbing your scalp with garlic juice, Onion Juice or Ginger Juice (you can either of one out of three, Do not mix any of two or three);
5) also he used herbal treatment - TrichoZed or/and Provilluss (do not use Rogaine - it will not work!)
Those are a good products that helps prevent hair loss and contains Biotin and the clinically tested ingredients approved by the FDA to help re-grow your hair.! I think it is very important!
It worked and still works for him!
I do not know if any pharmacies carry TrichoZed but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here
It enhances hair growth by blocking DHT (Dihydrotestostrone) - a major cause of hair loss!
not only my husband`s own personal experience + working as a family physician
What'S The Solution For Hair Loss?
You can eliminate the 'cause' and the condition of your hair will improve.
So many reasons why you have hair loss:
Supplements, steroids, hereditary, hair dyes perming, straightening, diet, medications with testosterone, certain antidepressants, menopause, anti-acne, and too much of everything. Add to that the 7,000 + toxics found in your home, plus pollution found outdoors. Your hair is crying for help!
They also say you normally lose 100-200 hair a day, but I don't. I lose about 7-8 every time I brush it, so that's about 100 per week, give or take.
The majority of hair problems here are from girls in their 30s, asking how to care for their damaged hair, what product to make their hair grow, why their hair falls out, and why their shampoo or conditioner don't work. Women between 60-80 have that same problem, but it took them years to get there. And those same 30 & under girls are giving advice here? Go figure!
Even the cheapest shampoo can do magic for your hair, so it must be what you're doing AFTER you wash it. Shampoos and vitamins might make your hair look and feel healthier, but they won’t put more hairs on your head.
According Dr. Melissa Piliang, a dermatologist at the Cleveland Clinic. Americans spent an estimated $176 million on hair loss products last year, and chances are some of that money was not well spent. Don’t let charming salon owners, seductive ads or fancy gimmicks convince you otherwise.
I know hair. I am in my early 60's, and I've been having menopause, and I am not experimenting hair loss, for those who said I don't know what I'm talking about when it comes to hair. I have silky, shiny, soft, smooth very healthy long hair. Previously damaged by perming & dyeing. What you see on my profile is what I have now. It's as thick as when I'm in my teens.
Friends, Could You Anybody Suggest A Good Medicine Or Oil To Stop Hair Fall And Regrowth Of Hair?
Solutions For Hair Growth
Generally hair growth is a universal problem. You will need to get the right diet
with enough protein and iron in your body for growth of your hair because hair is made up of keratin,a type of protein. The healthy condition of the hair depends, to a very large extent, on the intake of sufficient amounts of essential nutrients in the daily diet.Persons with a tendency to lose hair should take a well-balanced and correct diet, made up of foods which, in combination, should supply all the essential nutrients.Hair under stress is not vitalized.Tight braids or coils weakens roots and prevents hair from growing longer. Crash diets and low calorie foods could deprive the hair of vital nourishment,so do not eliminate fat and carbohydrates from your diet.A proper diet supplemented adequately by vitamins and minerals will optimize the genetic growth cycle. Any deficiency will be reflected in the volume and thickness of your hair.
Home remedies are made at home and work out less expensive than other alternative forms of medicines.Generally, homemade remedies are harmless when compared to other forms of modern medicines and rarely cause reactions or side effects.

Is There Any Solution To Stop Baldness?
How To Regrow Hair?
I'm no expert but since people have been so sensitive here, I'll just tell you what I know from experience.
Stop using shampoos like head and shoulders or shampoos with selenium in it. It is too strong and you should use a milder treatment shampoo.
Regroe is too slow if not ineffective. Before, Mercury Drug used to carry the hair grower Foltene. It really works. A friend of mine had alopecia and whenever he got stressed clumps of hair fell (that is worse than baldness for me) He at one time had this polka dot head. He used this everytime and it worked. It is very effective, you can still buy it online in one of those Eurpoean drug stores online. They also have a line of shampoos and conditioners.
You should also drink vitamin B specifically Niacin. That is what he did, I don't know about gradual hair loss but this concoction worked for sudden hair loss.
The common factor is: Don't stress yourself out too much.
