Hair Loss Treatment: the Ultimate Convenience!
Hair can start to fall out for a lot of reasons. It can be extremely frustrating and difficult, if you want to quit losing hair, to purchase plenty of different products which do not do the job. Beautiful and healthful hair enhances your personality.
Hair Loss Treatment: No Longer a Mystery
The main cause of hair loss is called androgenetic alopecia. It is one of the most common problems experienced by men and women all over the world. It will probably halt the loss of hair in most of men, but the quantity of regrowth will be dependent on the person.
Losing your hair is not at all a pleasant thought! The burning question is, “what can be done about it?” Well, if you read this article you will find some useful information on what is being recommended as the best hair loss treatment.
It is common knowledge that the market is saturated with loads of products all claiming to reduce baldness. Some are total shams and do not work at all, while others may produce some slight improvement.
Let us take a look at what causes people to lose their hair first before we proceed to explore the best hair loss treatment in some detail.
Hair loss may be due to pollution, traction i.e. pulling on the roots and damage to the follicles, pattern baldness, stress, scaring of the scalp due to injury and self inflicted baldness whereby the person compulsively plucks hair out of their own scalp.
To be perfectly honest there are very few products that will actually help you with your hair loss problem. Each individual is unique and as such the treatment will vary from person to person based on the nature and cause of the problem.
Hair loss surgery is a very well recommended method for treating hair loss and includes different types of surgeries: hair transplantation, tissue expansion and flap surgery. However, going under the knife should really be your last option.
Have you noticed that you have started to lose your hair after you began a course of medication for a particular medical condition? This can sometimes happen, consult with your physician and try stopping the medication to see if the hair loss stops. If it does, your doctor can always prescribe a milder dosage or alternative medicine.
Alternative treatments have slowly begun gaining popularity for a number of reasons. They are considered to be less harmful and people believe they will succeed a whole lot better than western medicine.
Video: Hair Replacement in Elizabethton
That is the question that motivates Dr. Brett Bolton, a hair transplant surgeon in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Today’s ‘gold standard’ of hair transplantation is not high enough for Dr. Bolton who has specialized in hair restoration since 1997. In the late 90’s he was fortunate enough to enter the field of hair transplant surgery during a transitional time when technology was being shaped. Outdated techniques like the large chunky hair plugs, punch grafts and flap surgeries Elizabethton Tennessee were on their way out and the defining new technique of follicular unit transplantation (FUT) was just cresting the horizon. Dr. Bolton’s vantage point at that time could not have been any better. He learned from the mistakes of other hair doctors as he repaired bad transplants, and he also gleaned valuable techniques from talented surgeons like the late Dr. Constantine Chambers who did wonders with old technology, especially in the crown area.
With FUT, doctors transplant small slit grafts which contain only one hair bundle. These grafts are harvested from a single strip of donor tissue and separated under a microscope. They contain a naturally occurring bundle of 1-4 hairs. The result is very natural-looking but Dr. Bolton would argue that there is not enough hair density to give patients a satisfying outcome with 1-4 hair grafts only.
In the early 2000’s, it became exceptionable for doctors to perform surgeries using anything other than FUT. However, Dr. Bolton had already developed a method of transplantation using a mixture of graft sizes that far outperformed the standard follicular unit transplantation. He was not willing to cast off a technique that was proving to be extremely successful in his practice despite pressure from peers. Instead, he refined and developed this approach and proudly applies Multi-Unit Hair Grafting , which he co-developed at PAI Medical Group in Nashville, Tennessee. By using a combination of micrografts (single hair grafts), follicular units and multiple follicular unit grafts, which is a slit graft containing 2 to 3 follicular units, Dr. Bolton gives patients 2-3 times the density compared to other doctors who use FUT only.
Some of Dr. Bolton’s peers suggest in error that multi-unit grafts are old style hair plugs. These new style slit grafts are slightly larger than standard follicular units. Separated under a microscope just like follicular units, these multi-unit grafts are not harvested with a punch biopsy instrument. This insures hardiness of the delicate hair follicles and surrounding tissue. They are never used in the frontal hairline and are strategically placed throughout the vertex and crown to make the most of density. This style of transplantation is so unique, Dr. Bolton cannot even charge by the graft because it simply doesn’t translate. Instead, he charges by hair volume. When compared to competitors, hair for hair, Dr. Bolton’s surgery is the best value in the industry.

If you're concerned about hair loss, you'll be glad to know that one of the most effective ingredients in Provillus is all-natural. Saw palmetto is a naturally occurring substance that has been used effectively in hair loss prevention and hair regrowth throughout the world. Studies have shown that saw palmetto lowers the levels of DHT (dihydrotestosterone) in your body by blocking receptors on the cell membranes. DHT is the major cause of typical male pattern baldness, and when it is reduced, new hair can grow unimpeded.
As the saw palmetto in Provillus blocks DHT, vitamin B6, biotin, zinc, and magnesium work to provide your scalp with the vital nutrients it needs to produce healthy hair. Gota Kola, Eleuthro, Uva-Ursi, pumpkin oil, and other extracts are also used to stimulate hair growth and assist with protein synthesis and energy metabolism. This effective combination has made Provillus extremely successful in stopping hair loss and kickstarting regrowth. In fact, this supplement is rated as the best hair loss treatment pill on the market!

Can Someone With Hair Transplants Please Be Nice Enough To Talk To Someone Who Needs Hairtransplants. Please.?

Explore the two primary harvesting techniques: 1) the older and less costly strip extraction surgery and 2) the newer and more costly but generally less invasive FUE(follicular unit extraction) aka Wood's Technique, and the issues involved with both harvesting methods. The transplanting is largely th same regardless of harvesting method. There is a lot of information available on the internet. Also explore new techniques that may be coming available in the next five years: 1) producing the hair to transplant in a lab and 2) injecting stem cells into the scalp to rejuvenate the hairs that have thinned to the point of being fine nearly invisible vellus hairs, so that they once again produce robust terminal hairs.
Does Hair Restoration Surgery Work?
Has Anyone Had A Hair Restoration Surgery? If You Have, Does It Work Good?
I'Ve Tried Rogaine And Some Other Stuff, But Need A More Permanent Solution To My Hair Loss. A Toupee Or Wig Is Not An Option.
Yes, hair restoration surgery does work. I had a hair transplantation procedure back in July and couldn't be happier with the results. Ever since receiving the procedure from Bosley in Seattle I have kept a blog called BattleAgainstBald.com, which documents the whole thing. In addition to seeing the progression of my hair restoration results I provide a lot of other useful information on hair loss and the methods of correcting it.
I encourage you to visit BattleAgainstBald.com and see for yourself that hair restoration does in fact work.
All the best in your battle!
Is It Okay For Someone Who Is Not Suffering Hair Loss To Use Rogaine Or Not? ?

Why Is My Hair Thinning. I Am Female, 60 & Do Not Take Any Hormone Replacements. Is This The Reason?
My Hair Is Thinning On The Top And Sides. Can I Reverse This Or Improve This Problem And With What?
It certainly could be.
At 60, your body is no longer manufacturing progesterone.
Here is an article:
By Dr. John Lee, MD
When progesterone levels fall as a result of overian follicle
failure (lack of ovulation), the body responds by increasing
its production of the adrenal cortical steroid, androstenedione,
an alternative precursor for the production of other adrenal
cortical hormones. Androstenedione conveys some androgenic
(male-like) properties, in this case, male pattern hair loss.
When progesterone levels are raised by progesterone cream, the androstenedione level will gradually fall, and your normal hair
growth will eventually resume. Since hair growth is a slow process, it may take four to six months for the effects to become apparent.
Taken from Dr. John Lee's book, What Your Doctor May Not
Tell You About Menopause page 323
It's also very important to read Dr. John Lee's books,
What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Premenopause,
What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Menopause
and is most recent book
What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Breast Cancer.
These three books are must reads for any woman who
refuses to pump synthetic hormones into her percious body.

Is It Possible To Successfully Implant Real Or Artificial Hair For Human Eyebrows?
Can Hair Be Successfully Implanted Into The Eyebrow Region To Fill In Or Replace Lost Eyebrow Hair?
Can Real Or Artificial Hair Be Successfully Implanted To Fill In For Weak Or Missing Eyebrow Hair? I Am Curious As Eyebrow Hair Is Very Important To Facial Symmetry For Both Men And Women.
If This Can Be Done, Is This A Rather Costly Procedure That Many Practictioners Do Or Want To Do?
Has This Been Done For Years, Or Is This A Fairly Recent Developmental Treatment For Thin Or Non Existant Eyebrow Hair?
It actually can be done. Any place that does hair transplant can do transplant for eyebrows. The only thing is that you will have to constantly trim that area of your brows, because they take hair from your head which grows long. I think for anyone who desires more brow hair would be thrilled with the results even though it requires trimming them. I don't believe it is that expensive, maybe several hundred dollars.
