Things You Should Know About Hair Loss Treatment
Hair can start to fall out for a lot of reasons. It can be extremely frustrating and difficult, if you want to quit losing hair, to purchase plenty of different products which do not do the job. Beautiful and healthful hair enhances your personality.
The main cause of hair loss is called androgenetic alopecia. It is one of the most common problems experienced by men and women all over the world. It will probably halt the loss of hair in most of men, but the quantity of regrowth will be dependent on the person.
Losing your hair is not at all a pleasant thought! The burning question is, “what can be done about it?” Well, if you read this article you will find some useful information on what is being recommended as the best hair loss treatment.
It is common knowledge that the market is saturated with loads of products all claiming to reduce baldness. Some are total shams and do not work at all, while others may produce some slight improvement.
Let us take a look at what causes people to lose their hair first before we proceed to explore the best hair loss treatment in some detail.
Hair loss may be due to pollution, traction i.e. pulling on the roots and damage to the follicles, pattern baldness, stress, scaring of the scalp due to injury and self inflicted baldness whereby the person compulsively plucks hair out of their own scalp.
To be perfectly honest there are very few products that will actually help you with your hair loss problem. Each individual is unique and as such the treatment will vary from person to person based on the nature and cause of the problem.
Hair loss surgery is a very well recommended method for treating hair loss and includes different types of surgeries: hair transplantation, tissue expansion and flap surgery. However, going under the knife should really be your last option.
Have you noticed that you have started to lose your hair after you began a course of medication for a particular medical condition? This can sometimes happen, consult with your physician and try stopping the medication to see if the hair loss stops. If it does, your doctor can always prescribe a milder dosage or alternative medicine.
Alternative treatments have slowly begun gaining popularity for a number of reasons. They are considered to be less harmful and people believe they will succeed a whole lot better than western medicine.

That is the question that motivates Dr. Brett Bolton, a hair transplant surgeon in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Today’s ‘gold standard’ of hair transplantation is not high enough for Dr. Bolton who has specialized in hair restoration since 1997. In the late 90’s he was fortunate enough to enter the field of hair transplant surgery during a transitional time when technology was being shaped. Outdated techniques like the large chunky hair plugs, punch grafts and flap surgeries New Bloomfield Pennsylvania were on their way out and the defining new technique of follicular unit transplantation (FUT) was just cresting the horizon. Dr. Bolton’s vantage point at that time could not have been any better. He learned from the mistakes of other hair doctors as he repaired bad transplants, and he also gleaned valuable techniques from talented surgeons like the late Dr. Constantine Chambers who did wonders with old technology, especially in the crown area.
With FUT, doctors transplant small slit grafts which contain only one hair bundle. These grafts are harvested from a single strip of donor tissue and separated under a microscope. They contain a naturally occurring bundle of 1-4 hairs. The result is very natural-looking but Dr. Bolton would argue that there is not enough hair density to give patients a satisfying outcome with 1-4 hair grafts only.
In the early 2000’s, it became exceptionable for doctors to perform surgeries using anything other than FUT. However, Dr. Bolton had already developed a method of transplantation using a mixture of graft sizes that far outperformed the standard follicular unit transplantation. He was not willing to cast off a technique that was proving to be extremely successful in his practice despite pressure from peers. Instead, he refined and developed this approach and proudly applies Multi-Unit Hair Grafting , which he co-developed at PAI Medical Group in Nashville, Tennessee. By using a combination of micrografts (single hair grafts), follicular units and multiple follicular unit grafts, which is a slit graft containing 2 to 3 follicular units, Dr. Bolton gives patients 2-3 times the density compared to other doctors who use FUT only.
Some of Dr. Bolton’s peers suggest in error that multi-unit grafts are old style hair plugs. These new style slit grafts are slightly larger than standard follicular units. Separated under a microscope just like follicular units, these multi-unit grafts are not harvested with a punch biopsy instrument. This insures hardiness of the delicate hair follicles and surrounding tissue. They are never used in the frontal hairline and are strategically placed throughout the vertex and crown to make the most of density. This style of transplantation is so unique, Dr. Bolton cannot even charge by the graft because it simply doesn’t translate. Instead, he charges by hair volume. When compared to competitors, hair for hair, Dr. Bolton’s surgery is the best value in the industry.

Some Common Q & A’s
What Are Hair Plugs... Ya Know?
I Know It'S Like Fake Hair, But How Do You Put It In.... Does It Hurt.
Hair transplantation is a surgical technique that involves moving skin containing hair follicles from one part of the body (the donor site) to bald or balding parts (the recipient site).
You'd probably be sedated, so pain would not be an issue.
Will Planting Chia Pet Seeds On My Dome Save Me Money From Having To Go The Hair Care For Men Or Surgery?
This way is more expensive than you can imagine. Plowing, planting, fertilizing and harvesting. I mean, come on, rubbing cow manure into your head every night just to get a lush crop isn't the way to go.

Preview by EUROPEAN HAIR INSTITUTE 2005-01-16, EUROPEAN HAIR INSTITUTE - Men suffering from hair loss can know get a non-surgical solution so life like and natural, no one will be able to notice.Costa Mesa, CA (PRWEB) January 16, 2005 -- European Hair Institute has developed a hair replacement system so natural it is virtually undetectable. This system is so unique it raises the bar for the whole industry and will forever change the perception of wearing a hairpiece. Injecting hair into an ultra thin transparent polymer base with micro pore technology creates the system. The advantages are; the thin transparent base, which allows the scalp to be visible, and injecting hair eliminating any tell tale knots. The result is a breathable lightweight hair system, which provides the lifelike appearance of hair growing naturally from the scalp. Since the base is so thin the edge cannot be felt, a huge advancement over traditional hairpieces.
Dale Pfenning, president of European Hair Institute states “No longer do men have to be concerned about wearing a hairpiece and having someone notice. Unlike most companies that only provide marketing hype, this product consistently exceeds customer expectations. I invite all interested parties to come by and see the product for yourselves.”
European Hair Institute has been servicing the hair replacement industry for over ten years and is the premier supplier of solutions for male pattern baldness. Bob, a client of European Hair Institute says; “With the systems provided by Dale and his staff, the only way someone will know you are wearing a system is if you decide to tell them. I’m single and dating and never felt comfortable letting a woman run her fingers through my hair until I began wearing these systems.”
Men suffering from male pattern baldness who want to try this latest technology, should contact Dale Pfenning at European Hair Institute.
European Hair Institute has been involved in the non-surgical hair replacement business since 1991. They are headquartered in Orange County, California. European Hair Institute provides a variety of different hair replacement solutions for men and women.

Going Bald, Whats The Best Procedure To Get Hair Back?
Hi, Im 23 Years Old And Want To Get A Surgery Or Meds, Or Whatever It Takes To Get My Hair Back. It'S Not That Bad Right Now, But On The Forhead, Starting To Descend. Do You Know Some Good Meds Or Surgeries To Get My Hair Back, Transplant Or Anything? Thank You!
There are many different medications out there such as Rogaine and Propecia being two of the most popular, as well as our own hair transplant microsurgery procedure. Before doing anything though and spending money it's always advisable to figure out WHY you are losing your hair since that will help determine the appropriate treatment, I'd suggest scheduling a free consultation with a Bosley physician at one of the many regional offices (all listed on our website).
Our people are hair loss experts who can diagnose the specific cause of your case & recommend appropriate treatment options that will give you the best chance for success. Best of all, the consults are conducted free of charge, so at the very least you receive the information you need to move forward in addressing your problem without having to spend a dime for it. Best of luck to you
I'M Going Bald! What Is The Best Hair Regrowth/Hair Loss Product/Treatment? For Men?
I Have A Receding Hairline And I Don'T Know What To Do! My Hair'S Falling Out..
You need to use a hair treatment like provillus. I've been on it for 5 weeks and i must say there is a major improvement in my part. It has all the vitamins your hair needs and much more.I've used it and I had very good results.Provillus contains the only FDA-approved topical ingredient clinically proven to re grow hair.
I am sure this product will be worth your time for a second look since your money would be going into the right hands. In a survey conducted, 18 out of 20 people experienced a drastic change after using this product. None experienced any side effects.
Provillus offers the best possible and perennial solution for this problem for both men and women. One of the best parts of the provillus treatment is that it uses natural ingredients. This has accounted for its rising popularity. Thus it leaves the other products behind in this context, since most of the products contain harmful chemicals.
Provillus basically functions by removing the main cause of hair loss i.e. DHT. DHT damages the hair follicles and is responsible for the thinning of hair. It also restricts the re-growth of new hair. Provillus prevents its formation and it also promotes the growth of the new hair.
I use it once a day every evening. The area which i was balding in was the top middle portion of my head, not sure why cause no one in my family is loosing hair accept me so its not genetic. I have regrowth in that area, few strands are coming up and my wife says its so much better than it was before.
Well you might be aware that it is available for both men and women. The saw palmetto extract is basically present in the men's version whereas a combination of acids is present in the female version. Thus in addition to the solution of problem of hair loss it also nourishes hair.
Till now Provillus has been getting positive feedbacks so you needn't worry and instead be assured. It offers the its users complete satisfaction.
If you would like more information on what a natural hair re-growth product can do for you. I urge you to visit the url in the source box below.
What Is The Reputation Of Bosley Hair Transplants? Are They Ethical And Follow Through On What They Promise?
I Have A Friend Who Went To Downtown Chicago And Is Intent On Getting A Hair Transplant. He Is Bald.
What Can They Really Do For Him Outside Of Taking Thousands Of Dollars?
He Thinks Women Are Going To Up To Him Afterwards And Gush Or At Least Not Be Frightened Of His &Quot;Big, Bald Head&Quot;.
He should consult with other plastic surgeons/dermatologists who do hair transplants. They can be independent and don't have to be associated with well marketed transplant centers like Bosley and Alvi Armani. A major issue is whether the hair that is going to be transplanted is harvested by means of strip extraction surgery or the newer and much less invasive FUE(follicular unit extraction.) If he is completely bald on top, it is going to costs tens of thousands and may not look very full. If he is quite young he might want to wait a while, hopefully, in a few years, research in hair cloning and multiplication will make a full head of hair possible for any guy throughout his life.
After Having Hair Transplant, Does The Area Where The Hair Was Transplanted From Regrow?
If The Hair Was Transplanted From The Sides, Does It Become Less Dense, Or Does New Hair Grow
I think you need to see what actually happens! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oaz7MagA... This is the original form of hair transplantation and ask you can see is pretty gory.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yp7RFbjS... This is the newer method you would probably prefer so make sure you ask for a FUE procedure rather than a FUT procedure.
The follicles that are transplanted do not regrow. If the FUE procedure is used then the number of follicles removed does not thin the hair in that area.
Hair Loss In Women With Pcos?
Im Suffering With Pcos And Within The Last Month I Have Started Experiencing Some Very Noticable Hair Loss And I Wanted To Know What I Can Do To Help Stop Or Slow This Down?
I Recently Purrchased The Saw Palmetto Capsulse And Have Been Taking Them Daily For About Three Days And Haven Noticed A Difference. Has Anyone Tried Saw Palmetto If So Didn It Work And How Much Do I Need To Take And How Long Until I See Results? Any Other Ways I Can Help Hair Loss? Please Help My Docter Just Tells Me To Lose Weight And There Is Nothng Else She Can Do.
You will need to take Saw Palmetto for at least 3 months before you see any difference, and that in itself won't be enough. Treat your PCOS, by exercising a lot, eating well, de-stressing, at the same time you can address your hair loss with various supplements (but none of them will perform miracles!) and even topical solutions, such as progesterone (on the scalp) and minoxidil, although minoxidil may affect you body hair a little, unfortunately.
Are People That Have Done A Hair Transplant Surgery Happy With The Results?
I Am A Guy, About 30 Years Old And I Am Not Completely Bald But Have Lost Some Hair On Top Of My Head.
I Am Planning To Do A Hair Transplant Surgery Where They Take A Strip From The Back Of My Head Which Contains About 2600 Grafts And Plant On Different Places On Top Of My Head.
I Have Booked The Surgery But Still A Little Hesitant.
I Want To Hear Stories Of People That Have Done The Surgery And What They Think About The Results Afterwards.
I strongly suggest that you search the internet under FUE(follicular unit extraction) and the wood's technique before deciding which harvesting method, FUE or Strip Extraction Surgery, is better for you. FUE is a newer and less invasive but somewhat more costly harvesting method that does not involve cutting with scalpels, staples, stitches and only a topical anesthetic is used. Also, the number of strip extractions can be limited by scalp tightness. FUE allows a more even density between the grafted and harvested areas because the harvested area is evenly thinned. Current research is along two lines: 1) propagating hair in the lab identical to the hair on the back and sides that can be transplanted and 2) injecting stem cells from the hair on the back and sides to rejuvenate the hairs on top that have thinned to fine thin vellus hairs so that they once again produce robust terminal hairs.
