My dog has skin alllergies as well. She gets red patches and usually hers crust over. She hardly has any hair on her chest and a few places on her sides. The vet gave us some sort of topical spray to put on her and if it gets so bad she has to go to the vet and get a shot.

Don't wear ball caps. After I moved back to Indiana, I was puzzled that so many men here had the proverbial "bald spot" or were completely bald altogether!

Then I realized that wearing a ball cap in the hot sun all day literally FRIES your scalp and kills your hair follicles! They just sit there under your hat and boil like eggs in boiling water. So ditch the ball caps.

I know that because for a while after I moved back, I wore one in the sun and started getting thin in the same place. Once I stopped wearing a ball cap, my hair returned to growing as usual.

Stop "scrubbing" your scalp when you shampoo. I mean really, do you dip your head in engine oil and remove bolts from an engine manifold with it? There is SO not a need to attack your tender scalp with your fingernails when all you are really doing is washing dead cells that your body rids itself of in the form of "hair".

When you use anything but a gentle washing using your fingertips only as you shampoo, you are actually tearing your scalp with minute little scrapes and your skin will heal those over yes. But in doing so, your skin over your damaged follicles will heal with tougher skin to protect itself thereby sealing off your method of expelling hair!

Stop ripping your hair out by the roots with a stiff comb or brush! Try to adapt a haircut that is suitable to your hair texture so that you can look good but with the least amount of fuss. The more you weave it, color it, comb it, brush it, bleach it and generally MESS with your scalp, the higher risk you have to just plain losing your hair as a consequence.

Don't shampoo every day. Stop that nonsense. Get in the shower, rinse your hair out with clean water but try not to shampoo more than three days a week. Nutritionists will tell you, overwhelmingly, that the absolute, bar none, unequaled conditioner you can use on your hair is your own skins oils. Spend 60 bucks on some fancy name brand or save the 60 bucks by letting your body work like it was meant to.

Throw that blow dryer in the freakin' trash and don't give it a second thought! Now why in the world would anyone intentionally "BAKE" their scalp using a blow dryer? You'd might as well stick your head in a convection oven.......see my comments on ball caps above.

NO! no way , you will lament it all your life. Get a good treatment , like Finasteride + Ketoconazole + minxodil and you stop and regrowth some hair .
No reputable Doctor will give you the ok , not matter how much a hair transplant cost , to do a hair transplant as such a young age .
Be patient, get a good treatment and you will keep your hair forever, plus in 5- 10 years there will be hair cloning for sure .

As far as growing hair out, I myself grew mine to donate to locks of love. I talked to hair dressers, girls I know with really nice hair and a couple of gay guys for tips. There were a lot of things that I tried, because despite my best efforts, my hair started to become a mess of twine fibers.

The first thing I do when planning on growing my hair out is find out what kind of condition its in. I go to a hairdresser and ask them to cut off all the dead hair. Dead is of course a relative term, considering hair is nothing but keratin, that is, non-living proteins, but of course it literally means hair that is ruined and past the point of fixing. The first time I did this, I was worried they were going to chop off all my hair and make me start all over, but they only do that as a last resort. What they will just do is go and remove all the split ends, dry hair and then layer it so it still looks nice. Your hair might end up shorter for a little bit, but its worth it.

The first time I had a hairdresser tell me I needed a trim to help my hair grow faster, I laughed at her. after some research on my own, I learned that hair actually frays at the ends and you loose length because of it. So getting a regular trim removes those frays before they go too far into the hair. From what I understand, dry, dead hair can split pretty much all the way down to the scalp in the worst cases. And it looks unkempt. So yeah, get a trim. You will be glad you did.

As far as shampoo, I use Garnier Fructis (I think I got the spelling right). Its great stuff and it smells good while using it. That makes my hair softer than normal V05 does, though that works too. Instead of using the shampoo, rinsing, conditioning and then rinsing again, I just shampoo in the shower, then take the conditioner and work it into my hair, then comb out the excess. Let it sit all day and then rinse it out that night. Only shampoo your hair once every other day at most, and rinse it in the in between days.

One last thing, and this is my secret weapon! There is a such thing as hair cholesterol. It sounds gross, but trust me on this. It is oil that has been fortified with cholesterol, and it actually smells really good. you can usually get it for fairly cheap. I have included a link to the stuff I use. The stuff takes about half an hour to use, though for really dry hair, it would not be an atrocity to double the time its in your hair from what the instructions say. After a couple of treatments, anything but the dead hair will come out looking and feeling great. In fact, using this stuff, I got my hair to about as soft as an average house cat.

So good luck. Give the above a shot and I am sure you will have at least some results.

Male pattern baldness is a genetic treat passed down through generations and its luck of the draw im afraid, nothing speeds it up it just happens when its ready, both my brother and i started going bald in our 20's even though my dad who is 60 is just going bald now ( the f***er lol) because we got the gene from our maternal grandfather, who was bald at the same age, also male pattern baldness is associated with high testosterone levels

the best way to judge if you will go bald is not just to look at your father but look at both your grandfathers and ask about their fathers, but even if you do go bald its not that bad if you shave your head because ive found that the ladies are quite keen on my big bald shiney napper :o)

I don’t know if there are any new hair loss treatments but there are existing alopecia treatments that you may not know about. Consider checking out a website that reviews hair loss treatments for people with thinning hair. Any good comparison site will offer info about thegoods needed to treat hair loss.

I have not seen a shred of evidence that this works. There was even a TV program about many hair growth products that demonstrated how most of them do not work. Hair loss is natural and only surgery is a relatively sure bet.
