Hey I Hv Gone Bald And Want To Get Rid Of It By These Means...Can U Plzzzz Tell Me The Approx Cost Of These Procedures????...And Which Method Wud U Suggest...I Hv A Male Pattern Baldness....Plz Help Me...
Hair weaving is the process of "tying" other hair to your exsisting hair to create a fuller look. Hair bonding is attaching "other" hair to your own hair with a special glue like chemical which is attached at the very base of the root. Hair implant would be putting real human hair just under the scalp, this is someone elses hair and does not grow, once it falls out that's it (and usually is put in small qty's and I've heard that this procedure has improved it used to look like the hair on a dolls head -but???)Hair transplant is the process of taking "live hair" off of an area on your head that has hair and "transplanting it to an area that has no hair. This process usually is the best and will have permanent results. As to the cost of these procedures it varies.

How Much Does A Keratin Hair Treatment Cost?
At The Salon
They're not permanent, that's $300 - $500 each time you get them done. One I responded, she had hers done in March and that was May when she posted it? It is a billion dollar business, and they do not give money back guarantee for damaged hair or hair loss due to 'abuse', in this case, cancer.
Hair straighteners are known as hair relaxers, keratin treatments and hair-smoothing products. They work by breaking and reforming the chemical bonds in keratin, which is the main protein that gives shape to each hair.

Past users of the product have complained of sore throat, skin irritation, headaches, chest pain and rashes, among other symptoms. That may have something to do with the fact that the levels of formaldehyde found in the product rival those typically used in funeral embalming. That’s a lot of formaldehyde.
Reps for the company swear it’s all a misunderstanding. And the product labels itself “no formaldehyde” and “formaldehyde free.” The company has until September 12 to get its affairs in order, or risk having its product seized by the FDA. “We have been tested countless times by OSHA,” the company’s CEO Mike Brady told NPR. “And we have never exceeded a safety standard ever.” Right now, they are fighting with the FDA, but will continue to give what customers want,. Buyer beware!
Hair-straightening products are allowed to contain small concentrations of formaldehyde (0.2 percent). But several hair-straightening solutions have been found to contain well above the allowable limit. For example, one popular hair-straightening product that advertised itself as “formaldehyde-free” actually contained 6.8 percent to 11.8 percent formaldehyde.
BTW: A variety of hair-straightening products used in professional salons can expose both hairdressers and their customers to formaldehyde. The results show that three professional hair-smoothing treatments labeled "formaldehyde free" can produce the cancer-causing chemical at concentrations above the occupational exposure limits set by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. They tested four products: Coppola Keratin Complex Blonde Formula, Global Keratin Juvexin Optimized Functional Keratin, La Brasiliana Escluso Keratin Treatment with Collagen, and Brazilian Blowout Acai Professional Smoothing Solution. While ChemRisk tested four popular brands of hair straighteners, there are hundreds on the market. Nov. 11-11
By contrast, beauty salon owners and stylists generally lack a scientific background and don't have a keen awareness of the danger of working with products that contain formaldehyde, experts say.

Pubic Hair At Doctors?
I'M Going In For My Physical Tomorrow And I'M 16! I Have Never Shaved My Pubic Hair Before And Its Like A Forest Down There. I Have Really Bushy Pubes And I'M Embarrassed The Doctor Will Give Me A Weird Look When She Looks Down There And I Don'T Want Her To Say Something. Please Help What Do I Do?
Here's how to shave your pubes: 1st pluck/wax some of them while they're long. Cut the hairs short. Apply shaving cream or conditioner to the pubic area. Then shave upwards in the opposite direction of the hairs with a 5-bladed razor. Be sure to shave hard to make it smooth. Afterwords to avoid getting beginners side effects wash the area off with acne cleanser, dishwasher soap, or rubbing alcohol. It only takes me 5 minutes to shave that & I shave about 3x a week. If done right you will be incredibly smooth like me. If you do experience beginners side effects don't panic! just put acne cream on the bumps, pop them if you can, keep up the shaving routine, & they should go away within a month. That's just a reaction cause your body isnt used to being hairless there. Even I itched & burned when I 1st started. Also try rubbing one of those skin moisturizing bar soaps on the area after you shave it. That'll make it really soft. Also when my facial razor gets dull I switch it to my body razor.
You can also get it removed permanently with electrolysis which is painful & costs $55 an hour. I've gotten 3 treatments on mine. Email me for more info about it.
Here's the benefits of hair removal: The absence of it is erotic, sensational, & it's easier to sexually relieve yourself. You'll feel sexier, younger, & cleaner. For girls it makes their periods easier to clean up because the hair traps in blood. It's cleaner because hair traps in odors & dirt & is 1 less thing to wash when you take a shower. One of the reasons I started shaving is because I would kill time twirling the hairs when I saw that area. Pubes can get caught in stuff like your zipper. & you won't leave long gross hairs on stuff like toilets. The only real con is that it takes time & maintance. But then alot of hairy people spend that time doing other worthless stuff like smoking.
I've got a blog posted on my profile about why there's nothing wrong with pubic hair removal (or body hair removal on either sex) that you & everybody else should read. & fyi you don't need to be sexually active to shave that area. I have friends that are complete prudes that are into body hair removal.
I hope I am helping people by answering these questions. If you don't wanna pick my answer as best at least let me know if my advice has helped you.
Does Hair Replacement Surgery Really Work?
The technology and techniques have improved drastically over the decade.
Here's an article you may like to read (written by a clinical professor of dermatology):
Particularly this paragraph:
"The decade has seen a dramatic decline in the popularity of scalp reductions and flaps, and fortunately the "pluggy look" that was once the hallmark of many older transplant procedures is now deemed to be unacceptable. Unfortunately, many patients still carry the telltale cosmetic deformities caused by the older techniques and "repair work" has become an increasingly larger part of many physicians' practices."

How Much Does Micro Hair Grafting Cost?
I Did A Little Research And It Says That If A Person Has Red Hair, Then They Have Approximately 90,000 Hairs On There Head, I Also Read That They Charge Up To $5 Per Shaft, Now, I'M Not Bald, Just Thinning Up Near The Top Corners Of My Face
Sorry! Genetics rule. You cannot re-program genetics. You can spend a small fortune on pills, creams, lotions, wigs, weaves & hair grafts - but in the end you still must accept the inevitable & get on with the rest of your life. Life is not always the way it's supposed to be. It's just the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.
I Am 19 Years Old Female And I Feel Like My Hair Is Thinning. For A Few Months Now, Whenever I Am In The Shower And After I Condition My Hair I Can Pull Out Big Knots Of Hair...Its Not Like Clumps Are Missing From My Scalp..But I Am Starting To Feel The Differnece In How Thick My Hair Is (My Hair Is Was Very Thick..Like I Had It Thinned Out Many Times A Year). Should I Be Super Worried? As Some Other Background Info..I Spent My Entire Summer In The Mountains Camping So I Didn'T Exactly Take Care Of My Hair And Often Times Didn'T Brush It (Sorry If That Sounds Gross..But I Was Doing Research) And Only Washed It About Once A Week....I Always Wear My Hair Up In A Ponytail Or Bun Of Sorts And I Switched My Conditioner About 3 Months Ago, Out Of Advice From My Friends..I Now Only Wash My Hair 2 Times A Week-But I Always Blow Dry It-Could Any Of These Be The Cause Of My Hair Loss? I Also Know That Hormones Can Do This...But Could It Be Something Much Much Worse That I Should Be Worried About
Considering that an average person loses up to 100 hair a day,I would not worry. Nearly 40% of women experience some form of permanent hair loss, so don't be alarm if you're losing more than the 100 strands. Environmental and genetic factor influences your thinning. You make want to consult a physician or a specialist for better methods of slowing down your thinning if you feel it is a concern.
Also, emotional and physical stress may influence your thinning. Like you've said, there is a huge hormone factor. When you're stressed, your body releases hormones which may contribute to your hair loss. So relax.
. There are many options for hair loss. There's always the hair club which offer semi-permanent hair replacements. This can be expensive. There's also topical remedies (http://www.provillus.com/?aid=587078) which have been shown to regrow hair. Make sure you select a product that is FDA approve. The process is slow, but more than likely, you'll get some hair back.
To make the thinning less noticable, try combing your hair back or part your hair zigzag. It's stylish and may cover some of the thinning regions. Also, I would skip the blow drying all together. It will damage you hair and make it more brittle. But if you can't go without blow drying, do not aim at the scalp. The same goes for chemical treatments. This may cause more damage to your hair follicles. Refer to the site source for more help.
