What You Need to Know About Hair Loss Treatment
Hair loss is a hard thing for anybody to grapple with, and women specifically. While it is typically thought to be a male problem, it is also something that affects women as well. It is a problem of several people. Hair loss is crucial to avoid, but a lot of people find that it’s difficult, this is a cure to assist.
Hair loss is a typical problem which is frequently experienced by both women and men and can be brought about by quite a few distinct things including poor diet plan and genetics. It is not cured with just a month or two into any treatment. It is not just a simple appearance problem. The loss of hair because of nutrient-deficient condition can be corrected with the correct diet including adequate heights of all important minerals and vitamins.
Hair can start to fall out for a lot of reasons. It can be extremely frustrating and difficult, if you want to quit losing hair, to purchase plenty of different products which do not do the job. Beautiful and healthful hair enhances your personality.
The main cause of hair loss is called androgenetic alopecia. It is one of the most common problems experienced by men and women all over the world. It will probably halt the loss of hair in most of men, but the quantity of regrowth will be dependent on the person.
Hair loss treatment for men has been a struggle for generations. Minoxidil is the only FDA-approved drug for the treatment of hair loss. Minoxidil was first used to treat high blood pressure. Like so many other medications, another use was discovered for it, and that use was for treating hair loss. Patients who were taking the medication for high blood pressure revealed a side effect of the drug: hair was growing on different parts of their bodies, such as the backs of their hands, their cheeks, and even on their foreheads.
Minoxidil can be an aid in fighting Male Pattern Baldness
Researchers wondered what would happen if a solution of Minoxidil was applied to areas on the scalp experiencing baldness. Would hair grow there? they wondered. Yes, in fact, they discovered that the drug does help to re-grow hair on the scalp and is a hair loss treatment for man. It has also been proven in clinical trials to slow the progress of hair loss.
Recommended by the American Hair Loss Association
The American Hair Loss Association has recommended Minoxidil for those who don’t respond well to any other form of treatment. Minoxidil is also known by the name Rogaine. Generally, a five percent topical solution was used as a hair loss treatment for man and a two percent solution was used for women. In 2007, a foam version of the product was released, and it has become widely popular as an alternative to the topical solution.
Effects show up more on smaller baldness areas
Minoxidil has proven to be slightly more effective on smaller areas of hair loss, so the sooner you begin treatments, the higher your chances for better and fuller results. Occasionally, one side effect of the treatment could be itchy scalp. You might try a specially formulated shampoo designed to help soothe an itchy scalp. Another effect could be that you experience more hair loss, but just for a short term. This is seen as a positive effect, because in the long term, your hair will grow back in with renewed strength and vitality. The medication must continue to be taken, or the hair growth may slow or stop.
Provillus, a hair loss treatment for men, combines the topical solution of Minoxidil, which has proven to grow hair, and a supplement in the form of a pill you consume. This supplement, which you take twice a day, contains vitamins, minerals, and other valued nutrients for an overall treatment to your hair loss problem. This only makes good sense, as the foods you eat daily are supposed to give your body the nutrition it needs to grow healthy. Also, the roots of your hair and the hair follicles need proper nourishment so they can thrive and grow vibrant. Increases in the length of hair follicles have also been observed in tests using Minoxidil topically.
Minoxidil increases hair production
Almost 80 percent of individuals taking Minoxidil orally showed increased hair production, and it was noted that Minoxidil could reverse MPB (Male Pattern Baldness) in many cases. Varying degrees of topical solution were experimented with before deciding on a five percent solution for men and a two percent solution for women. Provillus offers two distinct treatment programs: one designed for men and the other designed specifically for women, because this plan recognizes the different needs between men and women.
Length of time until you see a noticeable difference
An average length of time to see if your hair follicles are going to positively respond to Minoxidil is two to three months, with some authorities suggesting four months as a better time frame. This hair loss treatment for man works best when applied to the crown, or vertex, on top of the head. It is an over-the-counter medication; therefore, no prescription is required. As well as stimulating hair follicles to re-grow your hair, this OTC drug also benefits your hair by slowing the progression of loss. You must keep using the treatment twice a day or you will not get the full benefit of its therapy.
Provillus, using Minoxidil, is one hair loss treatment for man, of only a handful of treatments, that is proven to work in stopping hair loss and generating new hair growth. As with any medication, use it with care, and if you have any questions or concerns, talk to your doctor. The sooner you get started on a program to repair your hair, the sooner you will see results.

In a recent survey, it was found that men fear losing their hair, either by it thinning, receding or by going bald completely, will make them unattractive in the eyes of others. It seems that lots of men worry about what others think about their hair loss. The survey revealed that Mancelona Michigan men who have bald fathers tend to keep their own hair short, so that if the hair begins to fall out it wouldn’t be such a shock to lose it all.
There are three general patterns of male pattern hair loss, and men can experience one of these patterns of hair loss or a mixture of all three:
Receding hairline
- A receding hairline is one of the most common hair loss patterns, where the hair is lost at the temples, either side of the forehead, usually leaving a mound in the middle. This may sometimes be the only area of hair loss, but others may experience thinning at the crown as well.
Thinning crown
- Some men will experience their hair thinning at the crown, which is at the back or top of the head. This can occur by itself or coincide with a receding hairline. Usually hair loss starts with thinning at the crown until the scalp becomes visible, and in time a bald patch may appear. This bald patch may grow wider until it meets the receding hairline, or it may stay at the top or back of the head and spread outwards in all directions to produce a circular baldness.
General thinning
- General thinning spreads evenly over the top of the scalp, and men will not get a distinct receding hairline or a thinning crown. With general thinning, the onset of hair loss is less obvious and takes longer to notice.
One method of restoring hair to a follically challenged head is the FUE hair transplant technique. FUE involves taking healthy hair follicles from the scalp one by one and grafting them into the bald areas of the head. The Mancelona MI surgeon transplants hair follicles into the same slot that contained previous hair, giving it a better chance of settling in permanently. This method of transplanting is very intricate and it requires special attention and care. This means the treatment is completed over a number of sessions and not performed in one long exhausting procedure. The grafts usually take in a few days and the redness caused by the treatment settles in under a week.
FUE hair transplants are very popular as:
- They deliver more natural-looking results.
- The treatment is less painful than other methods.
- Downtime is minimal.
In most cases, once you receive the aesthetics, you’ll only feel minimal discomfort during the procedure. With the FUE hair transplant technique, visible scarring on the scalp is negligible. FUE transplant procedures are less painful compared to earlier transplant treatments and they tend to produce more natural looking results.

Vitamins are essential for proper hair growth. For healthy sebum in the scalp we require vitamin A. Graying and loss of hair is arrested with the intake of Vitamin B6 and B12. Keratin is produced by Biotin and hair follicles are kept healthy by inositol. Panthothenic acid and Para-amino benzoic acids are also beneficial. These vitamins are present in fruits such as lemon, pineapple and strawberry and in vegetables such as potato.

How Can I Reverse Hair Loss/Receding Hairline A.S.A.P?
I Am 19 And As A Child I Always Had Thin Edges And Temples But Now It Has Gotten Worse. My Hairline Is Not Receding Yet But Its Thinning More Everyday. My Brothers Are Telling More Often I Have A Receding Hairline. Its Not That Noticeable Yet But I Want To Stop It Before It Gets Any Worse. I Need Detailed Steps. I Am Trying To Do It Natural.
Unfortunately your hair loss has been predetermined by your DNA. Usually hair loss is passed from the maternal side. If your mom's, dad is bald or has really thin hair that is what you can expect. If you have hair loss on your fathers side too, then you know it is inevitable.
There are products on the market made for thinning hair, that helps keep what you have longer. Nioxin has several different formulas that produce some pretty good results. You can go to their website* to find a salon in your area that carries it. Any cosmetologist/ stylist working there will be able to recommend the best products for your hair type.
Many times a build up of oils in the follicles can cause thinning as well. To make sure you are not getting that, you can shampoo every two weeks with a clarifying shampoo. Massaging your scalp will also increase the blood flow, keeping vital nutrients in the hair follicle and root.
Also supplement your diet with a multivitamin, eat a well balanced diet and drink plenty of water.
Doing all these things will help you retain your hair longer.
There are surgeries available to transplant hair from the back of the head, where thinning takes place last, to the front. I am sure that more things are being invented all the time, so hold your chin up, a cure for thinning hair or baldness may be right around the corner.
Good Luck!

Are There Any Real Drugs That Will Help Restore / Stop Hair Loss In 42 Yr Male?
Current Meds =Effexor And Straterra
Not really. I'm 33 and the only drugs I know of and tried is proscar (propecia) and all it did was crash my libido. Real nasty side effects... You can try rogaine but it doesn't work on thinning hair on the front and top of your scalp. One thing that has helped me is that I went on a completely vegetarian diet and started fasting regularly.. I usually fast twice a month 3-5 days every time. It may not work for you, I think it really depends on your body chemistry but it worked for me.
Oh yeah and I tried all the topical stuff also..rogaine, regenix, hair genesis, folligen, tricomin, emu oil (haha) nothing worked.. everything was a let down and I just buzzed my hair and gave up..
How Much Does That Bosley Hair Surgery Cost?
I'm 17 Getting Ready To Turn 18. I've Been Losing My Hair Ever Since I Was 13, It Was Started By Me Trying To Dye My Hair Two Colors At The Same Time. And It Just Kept Escalating. My Hair Line Is Pretty Receeded, My High School Years Have Pretty Much Been Ruined By This. I've Been Incredibly Stressed Out During The Past 4 Years. I've Lost Just About All My Confidence. Therapy Doesnt Help. Music Doesn't Help. This Is The Only Avenue I See To Regaining Some Of The Confidence I've Lost Over The Years.
Actually a friend of mine just go hair transplant surgery done. She says it the best thing she have ever done and the results look really good so far. She regrets she should have done it years ago. She got it done in India through Tour2inida4healt Consultants and her experience was wonderful. She said that the standards were a bit like British hospitals used to be "back in the day" - things were a bit basic, but the actual standards of patient care and cleanliness are much higher than in NHS hospitals. She was very pleased with the way she was treated there, and most of all happy with the final result and she’s grateful that she was in the right hands. Tour2inida4health Consultants is very famous in India. They also have photos pasted of their International patients.

How Can We Stop Baldness For Men?
I Have 45 Year Old. My Hair Is Falling Since 40 Years. I Havent Take Any Advice From Doctor. Could You Please Advice How Can Ii Stop May Hair Loss?
Hair loss that is caused by medicines, stress, lack of protein or iron, or hair care may be prevented. Avoiding certain medicines, reducing stress, getting adequate protein and iron in your diet, and using hairstyles that do not damage your hair may reduce or prevent hair loss. If hair loss is caused by a temporary situation such as medication, stress or insufficient iron, the hair loss will stop when its cause ends. Hair loss due to infection may require oral antibiotics or antifungals. For all of the causes, early treatment works the best.
Unfortunately, inherited hair loss (androgenetic alopecia or male pattern baldness) cannot be prevented. However, many treatments are available, either to slow down the process of hair loss and balding, or to permanently restore hair to the bald spots on your head.
However, to precisely pinpoint the source of the hair loss, you should consult a medical professional, like those at Bosley Medical. These physicians are hair loss experts who can diagnose the specific cause of your case & recommend appropriate treatment options. The consults at Bosley Medical are conducted free of charge so at the very least you receive the information you need to move forward in addressing your problem.
Hair Replacement For Men ?
I Just Turned 55. I Am In Great Shape, Hit The Gym, Divorced And Dating Again. My Question Is About Hair Replacement. I Am Mostly Bald With The Exception Of Some On The Sides And Some Back But Not Much. I Have A Big Head And Do Not Like The Look. I Would Like To Ask Mostly The Women In My Age Group Would You Date And Become Serious With A Man With A Lot Of Hair Over A Man That Is Mostly Bald ? It Seems Many Woman These Days Seem To Look For Tall, Dark, Handsome, And Lots Of Hair And Money. I Have A Good Job But Don'T Make No 50.000 Or More A Year. I Am Thinking About A Non-Surgical Hair Replacement Like The Hair Club. Any Thoughts ??
If it bothers you, look at hair transplants. It is expensive but not out of reach. The actual procedure is lengthy & not particularly pleasant but it does work & recovery is pretty quick. It isn't a miracle cure as they can't make new hair but it is effective.
I understand in this age of internet dating first impressions from a profile picture can be important, but any women that cant be bothered to look past looks isn't worth bothering with.
