Let’s face it, hair loss is a problem that affects men as much as women. Maybe you are already accepting the fate of baldness on your head as all other males in your family do. However, you need not really have to admit defeat straightaway. If you stay the course, you can find solution to restore your lost hair and have a head of hair once again.
You may have heard of this, What causes hair loss in men is a genetic trait called androgenetic alpeocia or male pattern baldness. This a hereditary form of hair follicle loss that runs in the family. So if you brother of father have this condition, it’s quite likely you may have it too.
For males, dihydrotestostrone is the one that causes your hair follicle receptors be weigh down. DHT is derived from androgen, one of the male hormone present in your body. When 5-alpha reductase, an enzyme in your body is converted to DHT, it binds and holds the hair follicles. That is why you see thinner and thinner hair strands as no new hair follicles grows to replace them.
There are 3 normal phrase of growth namely anagen, catagen and telogen. It is a hair reproduction cycle that goes on and on when you have healthy hair follicles. However, when you have too much DHT in your bloodstream, the growth phrased (known as Anagen) is shortened. This causes your follicles to prematurely shrinks and weakens. As a result, your hair will not regrow as it should be.
Now that is a clinical approved ingredient called Minoxidil that has been approved by the FDA to help men to regrow their hair. This powerful active ingredient can penetrate to nourish your scalp and hair. For it to be more effective, you can mix it with herbs like saw palmetto, nettle root and biotin supplements to promote even healthier hair growth. That’s one of the reason why I have the greatest success when I use hair loss products that contains these ingredients.
If you are facing thinning hair now, my advice to you is not to delay further. Get started immediately to prevent further hair loss and start regrowing your hair. You’ll definitely be please to see the benefits in a few week’s time.

The Psychology of Hair Loss in Teenagers and Young Adults
In the late teens, an individual is dealing with pubertal and post pubertal physiologic changes, the challenges of seeing the world with a new eye, the loss of innocence, school, pressure form peers and social groups etc. These in themselves are psychological stressors that define and shape our humanity. The manner in which we cope with these early stressors have the potential for defining who we become for the remainder of our lives. Adding hair loss to that burden in a teenager’s life can have far reaching consequences. There is potential for it to result in depression, social withdrawal and even paranoia. An individual whose development is influenced by these additional stressors would be at a disadvantage in all realms of life.
Hair Restoration Surgery In Teenage and Young Adults – What Could Go Wrong?
A young patient considering a hair transplant in Palm Desert California should always remember that transplanted hairs are permanent, while the hair they currently have is temporary as the hair loss would progress with age. Because the extent and rate of hair loss progression cannot be predicted, planning a hair transplant can be tricky. If this is not taken into account a hair transplant would potentially result in an odd hair pattern which results after a transplant that initially merged into adjacent pre-existing hairlines assumes an odd look. This would occur when the previously blended pre-existing hairline progressively receded to create a bald gap between it and the transplanted hairs. To correct this, more hair transplants would be required to bridge the gap. However, this odd pattern might not be remediable if:
1. The patient runs out of donor hair. This is especially a problem in patients with severe baldness, or when the transplanted hairline was placed too aggressively
2. The patient cannot financially afford the cost of further procedures
3. Body hair cannot be used either because the doctors at the patients’ disposal lack the experience, skill or the technology required to perform successful FUE transplant using body hair (BHT) consistently. In some patients, however, BHT is not conceivable on account of an absolute lack of body and beard hair. There is a great deal of inter ethic variation in the quality and quantity of body hair in individuals.
Hair Transplant Repair Options for Victims of Hair Transplants Performed at Young Age
Unless the hair transplant on a young patient involved the creation of a very conservative hairline, the first challenge in most of these patients is the depletion of head donor hair supply often compounded by the presence of follicular unit strip surgery and / or FUE scars. In these head donor depleted patients, a successful and credible repair and restoration work would necessitate the use of beard and body hairs in BHT repair work. Donor source in BHT can include facial hair as well as hairs from the torso and limbs. A recent 122 patient study published in the Aesthetic surgery journal describes the criteria for determining the suitability of BHT donor hair. What more, the study described the kinds of features an FUE equipment used in BHT should possess. Younger patients destined for severe baldness should begin incorporating beard and body hair earlier on in their hair transplantation odyssey. With proper planning, requisite doctor experience and skill as well as the proper utensils it is indeed possible to execute a successful FUE repair in young victims of ill-conceived hair restoration surgeries Palm Desert CA that were performed at a young age.

Some Common Q & A’s
I Am Starting To See Male Pattern Baldness, Can I Get New Replacement Hair Above The Hot Dog?
Sister Margaret --
i will cut my armpit hairs and send them to you; you should be able to use some ductate or something to stick them to those balding areas -- they should suffice; kind of like "locks for love" but we'll call it lovin' locks.
should i just send them to trailer #7?
Does It Cost Electricity If You Leave Hair Appliances Plugged In (Tuned Off)?
Such As A Blow Dryer Or Curling Iron.
yes, but not much worth noticing. when you're appliances are plugged in, even if they are off, they are still drawing an electrical pull from the outlet. however, since the pull is minute they really aren't costing that much generally. if you have a coffeepot or microwave with a clock built in that will constantly draw power to display the time. it is always best to unplug the items though because if there were a power surge it can easily overheat a hair dryer and cause a fire.
Do You Think If Mens Studies Classes Focused More On Male Sexuality That More Women Or Men Would Sign Up?
Do You Think The Enrollment Of Males Or Females Would Be Higher? I Think More Males Would Be Enrolled Because Its About Male Sexuality, But We Don'T Offer Many Men Studies Classes At My School. A Friend Told Me That She Think Women Would Be The Majority Of People To Sign Up Because They Are More Curious About Male Sexuality.
It's true that we don't have men's social studies in universities and colleges and that's a big part of the population that goes without study.
I agree that a big part of any mens studies would be their sexuality. Men are turned on by visual stimuli and so advertising media has always used a half nude women to sell spark plugs, shoe polish and hair regrowth formulas.
And yes, I think that women, especially women who are working on degrees in psychology, social work and anthropology would find this a necessary part of curriculum.
Excellent question, by the way.

What Does It Cost To Build/Operate A Nuclear Power Plant?
What Would It Cost To Build A Nuclear Power Plant, And How Much Would It Cost Annually To Run It?
Please Include A Source Possibly, I Have Found Many Numbers Ranging From 10-20 Billion To Build One, But I'M Not Sure How Accurate They Are
Well, if you focus on just the materials, land, and manpower, it would only cost about 1 billion dollars to build a nuclear power plant. However, just because it is a nuclear power plant, you can't use ordinary concrete, ordinary re-bar, or ordinary anything else to build it. Although those materials are good enough for office buildings and apartments, they aren't good enough for a nuclear power plant. Instead, you have to buy the very same concrete, re-bar, and everything else, but it has all been tested and certified to meet the exact specifications that you want. Instead of taking the vendor's word for it that the concrete is really 4000 pound rated concrete, you have to make the vendor certify and test that it is actually 4000 pound rated concrete for each and every load the vendor sends you. If you make a mistake with the paperwork, you just might have to remove all that nice concrete you just poured, so you can put new concrete back with the right paperwork. All that paperwork require people and those people need to be paid and they need offices to work in and computers to work with and phones and all the other stuff associated with having employees. And those folks don't work for just $10 an hour. No way, they require at least $40 an hour and sometimes $80 an hour or more for the managers.
Similarly, to build an office building or an apartment, you get an architecture firm to draw up some plans for a few hundred thousand dollars, buy the land, and take the plans to the government office to get the permits and you are off to building. But with a nuclear power plant, first you have to spend three to five years writing a license application to the nuclear regulatory commission. This application includes a variety of documents like an environmental impact statement and financial documents that show you have the deep pockets necessary to fund the project, and also to clean it up when the license runs out and the plant shuts down. Then, when the NRC gets the application of about 2000 pages, they spend 2 or 3 years reviewing the application, asking questions, generating more pages of official paperwork and possibly having you re-write stuff, re-design stuff, or re-engineer stuff simply because they don't like it, they don't understand it, or they were offended by your choice of tie. This process hopefully leads to an approval to construct and operate the plant, but it might not. You have to take your chances. In today's environment, a company can sink something on the order of about $100 million into a nuclear power plant project just to get approval to start construction. Along the way anybody with a stray thought in their heads about the project can petition the government to listen to them about whatever hair brained idea they have come up with and if the government decides to listen to them about the endangered bottle nosed weevil that might be harmed due to the plant's construction, that will just delay things and cost more money.
Oh, I almost forgot the bankers. Somebody has to pay for all this work and effort before the first shovel full of dirt is moved. The bankers usually loan a company the money for this effort. That loan has interest payments on it. Those interest payments can be pretty high because the bankers are highly skeptical that the nuclear power plant will ever be built and they think the chances of defaulting on the loan are pretty high. So by the end of the project you can pay more in interest than you did for the materials to construct it.
So, end of the story, the current plans indicate about 6 billion dollars to build a new nuclear power plant. If you put two reactors at the same plant, you can save a few billion on the second reactor and the two together will be about $10 billion. Those numbers could be low by about 20%, though. It's hard to figure because the cost of construction materials is going up like mad.
To operate the plant is about 200 or 300 million dollars a year. But the plant earns back in electricity sold about 700 million dollars each year. So it's a profitable venture, assuming nothing goes wrong with the timing of everything. Time is money, after all.

What Is The Cost Of Laser Comb ? Hair Loss Treatment?
Can Anyone Tell Me The Actual Cost Of The Laser Comb? I See Prices Ranging From $100 To $545 Online And Not Sure Which One I Should Go For.
but maybe you should try some natural treatment first??
year ago my husband suffered very much from dandruff and hair loss too and he started trying everything you can imagine to stop his hair loss. the things that really worked for him was:
1) Vitamin A - an anti-oxidant which promotes healthy production of sebum in the scalp;
2) Vitamin E stimulates circulation. Good blood circulation in the scalp is important in keeping hair follicles productive. The 'B' vitamins contribute to melanin, which gives hair its healthy color and also stimulates blood circulation;
3) massage is also beneficial. Massage stimulates circulation. As already noted, good circulation in the scalp keeps hair follicles active. Experts suggest a few minutes of daily head massage by hand. Circulation through massage may be improved by using a few drops of lavender or bay essential oil in an almond or sesame oil base with massage;
4) Try rubbing your scalp with garlic juice, Onion Juice or Ginger Juice (you can either of one out of three, Do not mix any of two or three);
5) also he used herbal treatment - TrichoZed (do not use Rogaine - it will not work!)
It is a good product that helps prevent hair loss and contains Biotin and the clinically tested ingredients approved by the FDA to help re-grow your hair.! I think it is very important!
It worked and still works for him!
I do not know if any pharmacies carry TrichoZed but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here http://www.trichozed.info/ingredients.ph...
It enhances hair growth by blocking DHT (Dihydrotestostrone) - a major cause of hair loss!

Would Really Like The Opinion Of A Doctor Or Nurse, I Am Almost Over Having An Ulcer On My Cornea, Now There?
Is A Large Scar Blocking Allot Of My Vision, Would Contacts Or Glasses Be The Answer, Or Would A Cornea Transplant Be Better, Also Could You Tell Me Something Of A Cornea Transplant?
No, contacts are not the answer.
Wearing lenses for extended periods of time can also block oxygen to the cornea, making it more susceptible to infections.
How does the cornea respond to injury?
The cornea copes very well with minor injuries or abrasions. If the highly sensitive cornea is scratched, healthy cells slide over quickly and patch the injury before infection occurs and vision is affected. If the scratch penetrates the cornea more deeply, however, the healing process will take longer, at times resulting in greater pain, blurred vision, tearing, redness, and extreme sensitivity to light. These symptoms require professional treatment. Deeper scratches can also cause corneal scarring, resulting in a haze on the cornea that can greatly impair vision. In this case, a corneal transplant may be needed.
What is a corneal transplant? Is it safe?
A corneal transplant involves replacing a diseased or scarred cornea with a new one. When the cornea becomes cloudy, light cannot penetrate the eye to reach the light-sensitive retina. Poor vision or blindness may result.
In corneal transplant surgery, the surgeon removes the central portion of the cloudy cornea and replaces it with a clear cornea, usually donated through an eye bank. A trephine, an instrument like a cookie cutter, is used to remove the cloudy cornea. The surgeon places the new cornea in the opening and sews it with a very fine thread. The thread stays in for months or even years until the eye heals properly (removing the thread is quite simple and can easily be done in an ophthalmologist's office). Following surgery, eye drops to help promote healing will be needed for several months.
Corneal transplants are very common in the United States; about 40,000 are performed each year. The chances of success of this operation have risen dramatically because of technological advances, such as less irritating sutures, or threads, which are often finer than a human hair; and the surgical microscope. Corneal transplantation has restored sight to many, who a generation ago would have been blinded permanently by corneal injury, infection, or inherited corneal disease or degeneration.

What problems can develop from a corneal transplant?
Even with a fairly high success rate, some problems can develop, such as rejection of the new cornea. Warning signs for rejection are decreased vision, increased redness of the eye, increased pain, and increased sensitivity to light. If any of these last for more than six hours, you should immediately call your ophthalmologist. Rejection can be successfully treated if medication is administered at the first sign of symptoms.
A study supported by the National Eye Institute (NEI) suggests that matching the blood type, but not tissue type, of the recipient with that of the cornea donor may improve the success rate of corneal transplants in people at high risk for graft failure. Approximately 20 percent of corneal transplant patients--between 6000-8000 a year--reject their donor corneas. The NEI-supported study, called the Collaborative Corneal Transplantation Study, found that high-risk patients may reduce the likelihood of corneal rejection if their blood types match those of the cornea donors. The study also concluded that intensive steroid treatment after transplant surgery improves the chances for a successful transplant.

Are there alternatives to a corneal transplant?
Phototherapeutic keratectomy (PTK) is one of the latest advances in eye care for the treatment of corneal dystrophies, corneal scars, and certain corneal infections. Only a short time ago, people with these disorders would most likely have needed a corneal transplant. By combining the precision of the excimer laser with the control of a computer, doctors can vaporize microscopically thin layers of diseased corneal tissue and etch away the surface irregularities associated with many corneal dystrophies and scars. Surrounding areas suffer relatively little trauma. New tissue can then grow over the now-smooth surface. Recovery from the procedure takes a matter of days, rather than months as with a transplant. The return of vision can occur rapidly, especially if the cause of the problem is confined to the top layer of the cornea. Studies have shown close to an 85 percent success rate in corneal repair using PTK for well-selected patients.
Here is a site that explaines more about PKT.
What Are The Side Effects Of Hair Transplants?How Is This Done,And Is It Costly?
side effects: a man made hairline, no prob if you have an artist do it. see pictures. pain, less hair on the back and sides.
how: take swatches of hair from the back/side of head, and then divide them into individual follicles, or groups of 2-3. Replant them using a technique not to different from planting seeds.
Yes, costs a ton. For full head "reconstructions" with bald spot reductions... can be 50,000.
