Top Tips of Hair Loss Treatment
Hair loss is a hard thing for anybody to grapple with, and women specifically. While it is typically thought to be a male problem, it is also something that affects women as well. It is a problem of several people. Hair loss is crucial to avoid, but a lot of people find that it’s difficult, this is a cure to assist.
Hair loss is a typical problem which is frequently experienced by both women and men and can be brought about by quite a few distinct things including poor diet plan and genetics. It is not cured with just a month or two into any treatment. It is not just a simple appearance problem. The loss of hair because of nutrient-deficient condition can be corrected with the correct diet including adequate heights of all important minerals and vitamins.
Hair can start to fall out for a lot of reasons. It can be extremely frustrating and difficult, if you want to quit losing hair, to purchase plenty of different products which do not do the job. Beautiful and healthful hair enhances your personality.
Hair Loss Treatment: No Longer a Mystery
The main cause of hair loss is called androgenetic alopecia. It is one of the most common problems experienced by men and women all over the world. It will probably halt the loss of hair in most of men, but the quantity of regrowth will be dependent on the person.
There are several types of hair loss and balding. While the mechanism of the phenomenon of hair loss and baldness is not fully understood, there is vast knowledge on the ability to treat the types of hair loss and baldness by medication or natural means.
We are dividing the alopecia types into treatable and non-treatable conditions and we shall hereby explain how one can evaluate the chances of successful treatment in the treatable conditions.
When evaluating the chances of improving the condition of the hair, the most important criteria is the condition of the hair follicles. As long as the hair follicles are alive, there is a chance to grow new hair. Otherwise, there is no basis for any treatment to succeed and the only options are cosmetic- wig, hair transplant etc.
Life period of the hair follicles may reach up to twenty-five years. The hair follicles grow hair in cycles of growth and fall. In the process of hair loss, each cycle of growth produces shorter, thinner hair and there is less pigment (color).
When the scalp has a bright plume, it indicates that the hair follicle is still alive but dormant. Given the appropriate specialist’s knowledge and therapy, the hair follicle can be stimulated to grow hair. However if the surface is completely smooth, it indicates that the hair follicle is no longer alive and there is zero chance to grow hair- except in some cases as explained below (Alopecia Areata, Totalis and Universalis).
The different types of hair loss and the chances of growth of new hair are hereby given.
Non Treatable conditions
The conditions of hair loss which have no chance of hair regrowth are: Alopecia from birth, Scarring Alopecia, Traction Alopecia and Lupus disease.
Alopecia from birth is a rare condition, where the infant is born without hair follicles.
In Scarring Alopecia the infected zone looks like a scar and the hair follicles are dead. The reasons of the phenomena are unknown. The chances of growing new hair are zero, but with proper treatment the expansion of the Scarring Alopecia can be stopped.
In Traction Alopecia the hair is pulled out of the scalp and the hair follicle becomes weak and dies.
In alopecia which is caused by Lupus disease, the skin is rough and pink and the chances of growth of hair is almost non existent.
The conditions of hair loss which has a chance to be treated successfully are: Male Pattern Alopecia, Alopecia Areata, Alopecia Totalis and Alopecia Universalis.
Male Pattern Alopecia is common male baldness. It’s characteristics are loss of hair at the front and crown area first. In many cases, there is still at least hair plume, hair loss and baldness can be stopped by affecting the hair follicles.
In Alopecia Areata condition, typical round hair loss patches evolve rapidly. Sometimes the bald patches spread to full hair loss of the scalp (Alopecia Totalis) or even whole body areas (Alopecia Universalis). The phenomenon could harm men, women and small children. Conventional medicine assumes the Alopecia Areata condition is an autoimmune disease, though the exact mechanism of Alopecia Areata is not known nor fully understood.
In many cases Alopecia Areata is caused by psychological pressure: people who experienced trauma have sometimes lost entire hair within hours or days.
Evaluating Chances of Successful Treatment
As explained in the introduction, the condition of the hair follicles is the most important criteria for evaluating the chances of successful treatment. Existence of thin white hair is a visible sign for living hair follicles. The thin white hair can be noticed when examining the scalp from close distance, with good light conditions. Sometimes viewing the scalp from an angle against light source helps to see the thin white hair.
Naturally, when there is thin white hair on the alopecia area, it indicates that the hair follicles are weak but alive, so there is a basis to grow hair, given the proper treatment. But when the alopecia area is smooth, the evaluation depends on the alopecia type:
In male pattern alopecia condition, smooth scalp is a clear indication that the hair follicles are not alive and there is no chance to grow new hair. However in Alopecia Areata, Alopecia Totalis and Alopecia Universalis the hair follicles sometimes remain alive even if the alopecia area is smooth and evaluating the condition of the hair follicles should take into consideration other important factors.
The factors which play important role in the condition of the hair follicles and hence the chances of success:
– Age of the patient: at younger age there are higher chances to recover
– Period with Alopeia Areata condition: if the condition is recent, the chances are higher. Among people who experienced Alopecia Areata for decades, the hair follicles are probably too weak.
– Alopecia Areata condition was due to a shock: In those cases, the chances of recovery are better.
– Use of violent and inappropriate treatment: Some treatments cause permanent damage to the hair follicles. In such cases, even if there is growth of hair, it is common that once the treatment is stopped the hair falls and the hair follicles remain weaker, which makes it harder to stimulate growth.
– Thin white hair: as previously explained, if there is thin white hair the chances of recovery increase.
– Use of wig: When a wig is applied, the scalp’s skin is not normally exposed to air and is not breathing (skin is not able to absorb oxygen). In cases of wig users, the chances of recovery are lower. If wig is attached by glue, chances are near zero.
It should be emphasized that these are general guidelines for treatment success chances, based on experience with a population of Alopecia Areata patients. A personal evaluation is required in order to accurately evaluate the success chances of a specific person.
Choosing the Right Treatment
There are natural or medication therapies which are intended to revive the hair roots. When considering medication treatment, it is advised to consult with a specialist dermatologist and inquire about possible side effects. The internet includes vast information about the side effects of conventional treatments. In case of natural treatments, it is advised to seek for a treatment which is certified by a recognized organization. The treatment should be certified for being safe for usage and without any side effects. In order to be certified for zero side effects, the treatment should contain only herbs and plants with the maximal safety degree – edible herbs- as defined by the U.S. CTFA list of plants.

In a recent survey, it was found that men fear losing their hair, either by it thinning, receding or by going bald completely, will make them unattractive in the eyes of others. It seems that lots of men worry about what others think about their hair loss. The survey revealed that Theodore Alabama men who have bald fathers tend to keep their own hair short, so that if the hair begins to fall out it wouldn’t be such a shock to lose it all.
There are three general patterns of male pattern hair loss, and men can experience one of these patterns of hair loss or a mixture of all three:
- A receding hairline is one of the most common hair loss patterns, where the hair is lost at the temples, either side of the forehead, usually leaving a mound in the middle. This may sometimes be the only area of hair loss, but others may experience thinning at the crown as well.
- Some men will experience their hair thinning at the crown, which is at the back or top of the head. This can occur by itself or coincide with a receding hairline. Usually hair loss starts with thinning at the crown until the scalp becomes visible, and in time a bald patch may appear. This bald patch may grow wider until it meets the receding hairline, or it may stay at the top or back of the head and spread outwards in all directions to produce a circular baldness.
- General thinning spreads evenly over the top of the scalp, and men will not get a distinct receding hairline or a thinning crown. With general thinning, the onset of hair loss is less obvious and takes longer to notice.
One method of restoring hair to a follically challenged head is the FUE hair transplant technique. FUE involves taking healthy hair follicles from the scalp one by one and grafting them into the bald areas of the head. The Theodore AL surgeon transplants hair follicles into the same slot that contained previous hair, giving it a better chance of settling in permanently. This method of transplanting is very intricate and it requires special attention and care. This means the treatment is completed over a number of sessions and not performed in one long exhausting procedure. The grafts usually take in a few days and the redness caused by the treatment settles in under a week.
FUE hair transplants are very popular as:
- They deliver more natural-looking results.
- The treatment is less painful than other methods.
- Downtime is minimal.
In most cases, once you receive the aesthetics, you’ll only feel minimal discomfort during the procedure. With the FUE hair transplant technique, visible scarring on the scalp is negligible. FUE transplant procedures are less painful compared to earlier transplant treatments and they tend to produce more natural looking results.

Has Anyone Here Had Bosley Hair Restoration?
Hi There I'M Considering Bosley Hair Restoration Surgery. Does Anyone Have Any Experience Having Done This. Does It Work As Advertised? Any Good Experiences? Any Bad Experiences? Etc. Thanks!
From what I understand they use microsurgery to literally graph hair from where it is thicker to places where it is thinner. Its not the same as hair plugs and at least from what I have heard, if done right, its suppose to look all natural. It will cost your around 10 grand though. But they do have flexible payment options.
Anyone Know A Remedy To Stop/Reduce Hair Loss For Men?
There Is A Pile Of Stuff In Drugstores That Claims To Stop The Boldness... It Is Also Known That Boldness Is Hereditary. Did Anyone Try Something That They Believe Worked? My Brother Needs It... He'S 29, And His Hair Is Falling Out Like Crazy In Last 3 Months. He'S Under A Lot Of Stress Now, Too. Anyone, Help Please? He Already Pretty Much Gave Up On It, But It Would Be Sweet If He Kept More Of His Hair Than Less.
First, he needs to reduce the stress. It saps strength from the rest of your bodies 'unnecessary' functions. Hair on your head, not that important. However, I have good ol' MPB. I started loosing my hair at around my late 20s real bad, but have cousins and brother who even thinned earlier. I've tried rogaine and it didnt really work, I tried propecia and hated the side effects of the sexual nature.... But I started 3 years ago on Advacor (there are others like it now), but they block the hormone that is responsible for hair loss. I lost too much before I found this wonder product, but I now have a fairly good thin layer, i feel no side effects and the hair is healthier. I hope he can afford these and soon, the sooner the better, wish i had started in my late 20s and not waited. ( iam not a paid sponser for advacor ; > )
Any One Had Hair Implants Or Low Level Laser Therapy?
1.Share Your Experience On Low Level Laser Therapy And Haie Implants
2. I Am In My Mid 20'S Losing Hair If I Had Hair Implants Afterwards Do I Have To Use Any Type Of Product , Medicine Or Cream To Keep The Hair After Treatment.
please don't do it. i totally understand why you would consider it but ....my boyfriend was like you and losing his hair young, 19. he got the implants and wishes he had not. i met him @ 30. 1st the implants do not grow like regular hair on your head they grow straight up for whatever reason, so you can tell they are plugs. also your hairline will keep receding so you will need more and more of these procedures. at some point you will realize that bald is sexy and you will just be a shaved head guy. however if you have the plugs procedure it leaves you with scars as they remove the hair from the back of your head to put it into the front. my boyfriend eventually went with the sexy shaved head look and you can see the scars and people always ask him if he has had open head surgery or other stupid and humiliating questions like that. the hair from the plugs never goes away so the older you get the stranger your hairline will become. please please dont do it. just go with sexy shaved head now. girls really like it.

Do Hair Transplants Work?
Is There Anybody Out There That Has Had A Hair Transplant Done? If So Did It Work, Where You Happy With The Result?
It really depends on your scalp and hair follicles. If your follicles are still healthy then you can successfully do a hair transplant. Otherwise, you might get one or two that will transplant and nothing more. This happened to a friend of mine. A good doctor can evaluated you and tell you the possibility of hair being successfully transplanted. Get more than one opinion. Do not go with the cheapest because remember, we get what we paid for.
Hair Transplant Dhi Delhi Vs Richfeel Mumbai?
I Am Planning To Go For A Hair Transplant This Month.
Please Advice Between Dhi Delhi(Dr Urvashi Chandra) Or Richfeel Mumbai.
Dhi Is Using Their Own Patent Technology While Richfeel Is Using Fue. I Don'T Understand The Difference.
I don't either, but here's an article about hair transplant.
London: Men should avoid having hair transplants until they are closer to the age of 30, a leading surgeon has warned.
Doctor Bessam Farjo told Newsbeat some clinics are not doing enough to warn under-30s about the long-term risks.
He said that while the publicity in celebrities like Wayne Rooney getting the procedure is making it more popular, it is not for everyone.
“When a celebrity comes out with it, you only hear the good things,” the BBC quoted him as saying.
“You don`t hear the cautions or the potential complications.”
He says that if you get surgery too young, it can look worse than it did in the first place.“If you have the surgery too early and you go bald, you don`t have enough hair to keep chasing the hair loss,” he said.
“You can end up with isolated patches of hair. You could end up with hairy temples and a bald forehead which isn`t pretty but is also hard to fix.”
Google hair transplants gone wrong. About 5,980,000 results. 12-11.

The effort has helped turn the company into a nationwide leader in the field of hair restoration, with annual sales of more than $100 million. The company spent about $200000 training Dr. Yates, who had no experience with hair transplants . . .
Example who had a strip hair transplant done:
"i had my strip hair transplant done 6 months ago, and the area they had stripped and stiched back on still hurts when i touch or when i lay back can someone with strip hair transplant recomment a cure for the wound, anyone oil or cream so it could heal and not hurt.thanks a ton".
If your hair loss is genetics: Prince William, Prince Philip, Prince Charles for example . . .Dr. Asim Shahmalak, from Crown Clinic in the U.K., says the only way the prince can restore a reasonable amount of hair density to his head is through a procedure in which 3,000 to 4,000 hair grafts are taken from the back of the scalp and moved to the top of the head. This procedure isn’t available through the British National Health Service, and costs around $1,600 a year.
But most blokes don’t realise there are many different types of transplant to choose from – some using your own hair while others using donor hair – and various procedures can set you back anything from £4,000 to £30,000.

How Long Does My Hair Have To Be, To Be Able To Get Extensions?
I Had Long Hair, But It Was Pretty Fried Because I Went From Black To Platinum Blonde In About 4 Months ... I Decided To Cut It To A Medium Length But The Hairstylist Did A Bad Job, And I Went To Another Stylist Who Said I Should Cut My Hair Short ... After About 45 Minutes Of Convincing I Agreed ... My Hair Looks Cute, But I Hate It. Everybody Tells Me I Look Very Classy And Cute, But I Absolutely Cannot Get Used To It And I Refuse To Leave The House Unless I Really Have To.

There is some type of hair system available to you, no matter how long your hair is. If you are bold, you can use a lace front wig. If you have bold spots, you can use a non surgical hair replacement. If you have 4 inches of hair or more, you can use hair extensions.

Chemically Relaxed My Own Hair It Went Wrong....?
I Chemically Relaxed My Hair About Three Days Ago And For The Past Two Days I Have Noticed Near My Scalp That My Hair Is Flat And Feels Like A Scab Only Where My Part Is Though. Is There Anyway To Heal The Burn In Like Less Than A Month Before School Starts? Helppp! Ive Also Switched To Pantene Pro V Restoration Shampoo And Conditioner And Am Only Washing My Hair Everyother Day As My Stylist Suggested.
Pantene sucks. At least, the new formula does. I still have half a bottle of old formula that I cherish as it was my perfect shampoo. Switch to something gentle for scalp care, like head an shoulders, or anything from the Yes To line.
